If you are a U.S.-based, regular full-time or part-time colleague, you are automatically enrolled in Short-Term Disability (Salary Continuation) and Long-Term Disability. If you are unable to work due to an injury, illness or pregnancy — for weeks, months or even years — income replacement ensures you have steady pay coming in. You are eligible for Salary Continuation after completing six consecutive months of service, and Long-Term Disability benefits are payable after six consecutive months of disability.
