Frequently Asked Questions on Airport Lounge Access

Find answers to frequently asked questions. Keep in mind that you’ll need to check with your lounge directly to find out more information and read the Terms and Conditions, as lounges may be subject to availability or wait times.

How long before my flight can I arrive?

Checked-in passengers can stay in the lounge within a certain timeframe before their flight, which is usually two to three hours before departure or after landing. However, a few places offer extended stays of up to five hours or even allow passengers of delayed flights to stay until their plane leaves.

Remember that different lounges have different policies, so you’ll need to get in touch with the lounge’s team for more information.

What type of food and drink is there?

Most lounges serve a variety of fresh seasonal dishes and international foods as well as a wide range of complimentary beverages which are included in your entry.

Depending on the airport you should also be able to find options catering to various dietary requirements.

Can I sleep in an airport lounge?

Most airport lounges are designed for short-term stays, but a few airports might have designated sleep spaces, including Sleep Pods or even guest showers.

Do I need to book?

That depends on the lounge. A few places won’t allow you to pre-book your visit using your Card, as they only accept walk-ins based on capacity, while others require reservations.

To find out more, check with the lounge directly.

Can I bring children with me?

Most lounges welcome children. However, you will need to check restrictions and take into consideration that, in some cases, children over the age of 12 must pay the adult price.

Can I bring guests with me?

Each Card offers different advantages, but in some cases Card Members may bring up to two complimentary guests into the club. Check your Card’s Terms and Conditions to find out more about complimentary and discounted guest access. And remember, you might be able to purchase guest access if you need to.

What if I’m flying late?

A few lounges remain open 24/7, but please check opening hours before your flight.

Is alcohol included?

Lounges around the world will have different rules or age restrictions regarding consumption of alcoholic drinks.
