Preferred Golf Membership
Effective June 30, 2020, the Preferred Golf Program will no longer be a benefit offered on the Platinum Card. Platinum Cardmembers who are currently enrolled with an active membership will continue to receive benefits until June 29, 2020.
Preferred Golf benefits include1:
- Complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, when available2
- Late check-out (when available at check in)
- Complimentary round of golf with each night stay at participating properties
- Stay More package offers discounted rounds of golf for two people, for every night of your stay
Enrolment into the Preferred Golf program is required to receive benefits. Benefits are subject to change and availability and may vary by property.

Basic & Additional* Platinum Cardmembers

1. Platinum Cardmembers are eligible for enrolment. Valid for participating Preferred Hotel Group properties. Black-out dates apply and may vary by property. Room Reservations are subject to availability and must be made in advance through Platinum Card Travel Service prior to arrival. Cardmember must be a member of Preferred Golf Club to access the golf-related offers. Benefit is not valid for groups or conventions and may not be combined with other select offers. Minimum length of stay is required. Payment must be made with a Platinum Card in the Platinum Cardmember’s name. Benefits may not be combined with other hotel program or special offers including Fine Hotels & Resorts unless otherwise stated. Certain room categories are not available on the Preferred Golf rate. Benefits are subject to availability, so early contact is recommended. Not available on pre-existing reservations. Fulfillment of the golf benefit is the sole responsibility of the American Express merchant. Golf benefit must be used during the stay and cannot be deferred. Back-to-back stays within a 24-hour period at the same property considered one stay. Participating providers and benefits are subject to change. Three room limit per Cardmember, per stay. Please note that tee-off times are subject to availability – please clarify at time of booking.
