Platinum Insurance Coverage

2. $200 Annual Travel Credit - The $200 CAD Annual Travel Credit can only be redeemed at time of booking through American Express Travel Online at americanexpress.ca/travel or by calling Platinum Card Travel Service. Travel booking must be charged to your Platinum Card. .Account must be in good standing. If you choose to use the Travel Credit, it will be credited to your Card account within 2 business days. Basic Cardmember is entitled to one (1) Annual Travel Credit each year based on Card membership anniversary date, towards a single travel booking of $200 or more, and will appear on your billing statement as “Platinum Annual Travel Credit”. If you cancel your travel booking after redeeming the Annual Travel Credit, you will not be able to use it again in the same year. You can only use one Travel Credit per booking.
3. $100 NEXUS◊ Card Statement Credit - American Express® Platinum Cardmembers are eligible to receive up to $100 CAD in statement credits every four (4) years for application or renewal fees for the NEXUS program when charged to an eligible Card. Cardmembers will receive statement credits for their total spend on NEXUS fees rounded down to the nearest dollar, up to a maximum of $100 CAD in cumulative statement credits, per account per four (4) year period, regardless of whether the NEXUS fees are charged on the Basic or Supplementary Card. American Express will not provide additional statement credits once the maximum of $100 CAD in cumulative statement credits have been issued for subsequent NEXUS application or renewal fees charged to the same eligible Card within the same four (4) year period even if the original application is rejected. For existing Cardmembers as of September 1, 2021 , the first four (4) year period runs from September 1, 2021 until August 31, 2025. For new Cardmembers after September 1, 2021 , the first four (4) year period runs from the initial Card anniversary date until the day before the fourth (4th) Card anniversary date. In either case, each subsequent four (4) year period follows the period that immediately preceded it. American Express has no control over the application and/or approval process for the NEXUS program and does not have access to any information provided to the government by the Cardmember or by the government to the Cardmember. American Express has no liability regarding the NEXUS program. The NEXUS program is run by CBSA and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection independently (without administration by American Express). The NEXUS program is subject to change, and American Express has no control over those changes.
Please allow up to 8 weeks after the qualifying NEXUS transaction is charged to the eligible Card account for the statement credit to be posted to the Card account. American Express relies on accurate transaction data to identify eligible NEXUS purchases. If you do not see a credit for a qualifying purchase on your eligible Card after 6-8 weeks, simply call the number on the back of your Card. Cardmembers are responsible for payment of all application charges until the statement credit posts to the Card account. To be eligible for this benefit, Card account(s) must be active and not in default at the time of statement credit fulfillment.
4. Global Lounge CollectionTM - Holders of the Platinum Card may access participating Canadian and International airport lounges (“Participating Lounges”) on a complimentary basis, upon presentation of the required entry documentation. Toronto Pearson 15% Parking Discount – 15% discount off the cost of parking (including taxes) will be provided as a credit to your Platinum Card statement. The parking lot is subject to availability. Pearson Priority Security Lane – American Express Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers with an eligible Card are entitled to access the Pearson Priority Lanes (“Priority Lanes”). The Priority Lanes are serviced by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority. Priority Lanes are located at select departure areas at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport in Terminals 1 & 3. Access to a Pearson Priority Lane is available to eligible Canadian Cardmembers and companions travelling on the same itinerary. The eligible Cardmember can request single-use QR Codes online by visiting go.amex/yyz. For assistance, please call the phone number on the back of your card. Access to the Priority Lanes is intended for the Basic and Supplementary Cardmember and a reasonable number of persons travelling with them on the same itinerary. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a Cardmember (or Supplementary Cardmember, as applicable) is not using this benefit as intended, we reserve the right to revoke your access to the benefit or to cancel your Card account. All passengers departing from Pearson International Airport, including those accessing the Priority Lane, are required to comply with airport security and customs screening requirements. Priority Lanes access is subject to change or cancellation at any time and additional terms and conditions apply.
Toronto Pearson Discounted Car Care – Car Care services must be charged to your eligible Platinum Card. 15% discount off cost of Car Care services (including taxes) will be provided as a statement credit. Only Canadian American Express Cards are eligible for the Car Care services. Subject to availability. Access to the Car Care services is available in Terminal 1 on level 5 of the Daily Park garage. 6. International Airline Program – The discount applies to the base airfare of the ticket(s). All ticket(s) are subject to government imposed taxes, fees and airline-imposed fuel, security surcharges and mandatory non-refundable fees. All ticket(s) purchased through the program will have all valid fare rules and restrictions apply. Tickets will only be refundable if the ticket purchased is in a refundable fare class. Airlines reserve right to modify fare rules and program participation prior to booking. Tickets are non-transferable or endorsable. To receive the discount, the purchase of the qualifying First, Business, or Premium Economy Class ticket(s) on a participating airline must be made over the phone through Platinum Travel or online at American Express Travel and paid in full with an American Express Card in the Platinum Cardmember’s name. Travel must originate in and return to select Canadian gateways. One-way travel permitted on some airlines. Available service classes in First, Business or Premium Economy where applicable are subject to airline availability. Cardmember and up to seven additional First, Business or Premium Economy Class passengers must travel together on same air itinerary. Not combinable with any other promotion and may not be available on all participating airline’s code-share partners, i.e., flights marketed by the ticketing airline but operated by its code-share partner. Participating airlines and benefits are subject to change. Limited time airline flash sales and private sale fare offers are excluded.
7. Fine Hotels + Resorts - Valid only for new Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) bookings made through Platinum Card Travel Service, americanexpress.ca/travel or americanexpress.ca/fhr. Payment must be made with an American Express Card in the Canadian Platinum Cardmember’s name. Available for Canadian cardholders of The Platinum Card® from American Express. Platinum Cardmember must travel on the itinerary booked under FHR reservations to be eligible for benefits described. Limit of one (1) benefit package per room per stay. Benefit package can include Noon check-in, Room upgrade, Daily breakfast for two people, guaranteed 4:00 pm late check-out, plus an additional special benefit. Noon check-in and room upgrade based on availability and provided at check-in. Certain room categories are not eligible for room upgrades. Call Platinum Card Travel Service for details. The type and value of the daily breakfast (for two) varies by property. The actual value of the daily breakfast will be communicated at the time of check-in. Daily breakfast will be valued at a minimum of US$60 per room per day. Any charges that exceed the value of the daily breakfast will be the responsibility of the Cardmember and will be charged separately. Additional special benefit varies by property, is subject to change, and cannot be redeemed for cash. FHR cannot be combined with other offers unless indicated. Benefit package expires at check-out. Platinum Cardmembers may book up to a maximum of three (3) rooms under the FHR Program per stay. Back-to-back stays booked by a single Cardmember, Cardmembers travelling in the same party and staying in the same room, within a 24-hour period at the same property are considered one stay and are ineligible for additional FHR benefits (“Prohibited Action”). American Express and the Property reserve the right to modify or revoke FHR benefits at any time without notice if we or they determine, in our or their sole discretion, that you may have engaged in a Prohibited Action, or have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with your FHR benefits. In the event the Platinum Cardmember cancels the reservation(s), FHR rates and benefit package will no longer apply to any remaining reservation(s). Participating Fine Hotels + Resorts properties and benefits are subject to change. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in room, with the exception of select properties where In-Room Wi-Fi is included as part of a mandatory daily resort fee or is not available. 8. The Hotel Collection - Valid at participating hotels for new bookings of at least two consecutive nights made through Platinum Card Travel Service, americanexpress.ca/travel or americanexpress.ca/thc. Payment must be made in full with an eligible American Express Card in the Canadian Platinum Cardmember’s name at time of checkout. The Platinum Cardmember must travel on the itinerary booked. (1) The Cardmember will receive the credit as deduction from the final hotel bill when checking out of the hotel; they will receive $1 for each eligible dollar spent up to $100 USD. Amenities vary by property and facilities available. Eligible charges must be charged to the room and exclude charges for taxes, gratuities, fees and cost of room. Additional exclusions based on specific hotel restriction may also apply including without limitation purchases within the hotel that are unaffiliated and/or owned by third parties - see hotel front desk for details. Credit must be used in conjunction with initial stay and cannot be carried over to another stay. Offer is not redeemable for cash and expires at check-out. Credit is non-exchangeable and non-refundable and is applied in USD or equivalent in local currency based on exchange rate on day of arrival. 9. Hilton Honors Gold status - As a Platinum Cardmember you are eligible to enrol in complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status. Offer available only to Platinum Cardmembers and is not transferable. Gold status benefits are subject to availability at participating hotels and resorts within the Hilton Portfolio. Once you request enrolment in Hilton Honors Gold status, American Express will share your enrolment information with Hilton. Hilton may use this information in accordance with its privacy policy available at Hilton.com/Privacypolicy. If you already have Hilton Honors Gold Status, you can maintain the benefit in the future because you don’t need to meet any stay requirements. You maintain Gold status without meeting otherwise required criteria only while an eligible cardholder or until American Express notifies you that the benefit is terminated. 11. LaCure Villas - Platinum Cardmembers are eligible. Partner or other Terms and Conditions apply. Amenities vary by location and are restricted to certain properties. One amenity per villa booked. Service fees may apply. Fees will vary according to type of service requested. LaCure Villas rentals eligible for the promotion must be purchased in Canada through Platinum CardTravel Service and charged to your Platinum Card. There is no limit on the number of Rentals a Platinum Cardmember may book. Subject to availability. LaCure Villas rentals eligible for the promotion must be for a minimum of $10,000 or greater, excluding applicable taxes and service charges, and must be purchased in Canada through Platinum Card Travel Service and charged to your Platinum Card.
12. Hertz Gold Plus Rewards First Star - Platinum Cardmembers must enrol directly with Hertz to receive Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® Five Star Tier membership (“Membership”). Membership is subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of Hertz which are subject to change without notice. American Express reserves the right to instruct Hertz to cancel your membership if you cease to be a Platinum member or your account is not in good standing. Benefits vary by market and location of rental, and may be subject to change and availability. Not all benefits are available in every country. 13. Avis Preferred - Platinum Cardmembers must enrol directly with Avis to receive Avis Preferred membership ("Membership"). Benefits vary by market and location of rental, and may be subject to change and availability. Avis Preferred enrolment is required to enjoy all benefits. Additional Avis Terms and Conditions apply. 14. Premium Airport Transfer Service - To be eligible, Basic Platinum Cardmembers must book an eligible round-trip first class or business class flight with a minimum 1-night stay on the same itinerary through Platinum Card Travel Service and pay with their Platinum Card. Bookings must be made at least four hours prior to pick up time. Subject to availability. Booking changes or cancellations must be made with Platinum Card Travel Service. Please provide Platinum Card Travel Service notice of more than one hour prior to your scheduled pick up time of any change or cancellation. Failure to advise Platinum Card Travel Service of a change or cancellation within the minimum required time frame will count as one complimentary transfer usage. The Premium Airport Transfer Service must be within a 50-kilometer radius of the airport. Additional charges may apply and will need to be paid by the Platinum Cardmember if the car transfer goes over the 50-kilometer maximum. The maximum number of passengers and luggage allowed will be subject to vehicle availabilities. Platinum Cardmembers can receive up to 6 complimentary one-way transfers per calendar year. Cardmembers are limited to 4 one-way transfers per qualified round-trip flight and hotel booking. Locations where this service is available are subject to change without notice. Premium Airport Transfer Service
Enjoy complimentary airport transfers with the Premium Airport Transfer Service when you book an eligible round-trip first class or business class flight, plus a minimum 1-night stay on the same itinerary.
1. Account must be in good standing. Membership Rewards points will be earned by the Basic Cardmember on the amount of purchases, less credits and adjustments. Interest charges, annual fees, other fees and cash equivalent transactions are not purchases and do not qualify for Membership Rewards points.
2. Basic Cardmembers enroled in the American Express Membership Rewards® Program that book travel through the American Express Travel website will earn one additional bonus Membership Rewards point for every dollar charged to their eligible Card for hotel and car rental bookings (less credits and adjustments) where American Express Travel (not the hotel or car rental company) is the merchant. The number of bonus Membership Rewards points is calculated by multiplying each eligible transaction by one, subject to rounding. Hotel bookings under the Fine Hotels & Resorts or The Hotel Collection programs are not eligible for this Bonus Membership Rewards points offer. In order to redeem points for any travel booking, the Membership Rewards Program account must be active and the Card must be in good standing. 3. Use Points for Purchases - You can redeem Membership Rewards points for a statement credit towards an Eligible Purchase charged to an Eligible Card. All Eligible Purchases: 1,000 points = $10 statement credit. You must redeem a minimum of 1,000 points per redemption. Eligible Purchases include purchases made at American Express merchants and charged to an Eligible Card. Funds advances, fees, balance transfers, Amex cheques and charges for travellers cheques are not Eligible Purchases. American Express may make changes to the types of purchases that are eligible for redemption with Use Points for Purchases at any time without notice. Eligible Cards are Consumer and Small Business Cards enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Statement credits on your Card Account should not exceed the aggregate amount of the Eligible Purchase(s) on your Eligible Card. You can register for Online Services to view your Eligible Purchases and to redeem online. Only Eligible Purchases posted to your Card Account during the last 3 months, up to 150 most recent Eligible Purchases, will be displayed for redemption. If you wish to redeem points towards an Eligible Purchase within the last 12 months that is not displayed online, please contact us at the number listed on the back of your Card.

4. Fixed Points Travel Program - The Fixed Points Travel Program applies to return airfares offered through American Express Travel Services Canada or americanexpress.ca/travel. Card account must be in good standing. To be eligible and be presented with this redemption option, you must have sufficient Membership Rewards Points (“points”) at the time of booking. When booking for multiple travellers on the same itinerary, you must have enough points to cover all travellers. Under the Fixed Points Travel Program, a fixed number of points covers the base ticket price of eligible flights up to the applicable maximum base ticket price. The flight grid includes the fixed number of points with the corresponding applicable maximum base ticket price required per category.
The base ticket price (often referred to by airlines as the base fare) excludes taxes, fees and carrier surcharges. You will be charged for these additional costs and any dollar amount that exceeds the applicable maximum base ticket price. If the base ticket price for an eligible flight is below the applicable maximum base ticket price, the difference:
(i) cannot be used to cover taxes, fees or carrier surcharges;
(ii) will not be credited to your Card account; and
(iii) will not be applied to cover additional costs associated with changes or cancellations. The full cost of the flight, including taxes, fees and carrier surcharges will be charged to your Card upon booking. Within 5-10 business days from the date of booking, you will receive a statement credit for the base ticket price up to the applicable maximum base ticket price.
Example 1: A select route requires a redemption of 20,000 points and the maximum base ticket price is $300. If an eligible flight for this route has a base ticket price of $250 plus $100 in taxes, fees and carrier surcharges (total cost of flight amounts to $350), then you will be required to redeem 20,000 points and will be charged $350; you will then receive a statement credit for $250 (the base ticket price).
If you decide to change this booking reservation for a new eligible flight with a higher base ticket price (such as $275), then in addition to all other applicable charges, you will also be required to pay an additional $25 (the difference between $250 and $275) even though the new base ticket price is below the $300 maximum base ticket price.
Example 2: A select route requires a redemption of 20,000 points and the maximum base ticket price is $300. If an eligible flight for this route has a base ticket price of $350 plus $100 in taxes, fees and carrier surcharges (total cost of flight amounts to $450), then you will be required to redeem 20,000 points and will be charged $450; you will then receive a statement credit for $300 (the maximum base ticket price).
You are responsible for any additional charges as a result of any changes or cancellations to your booking. Subject to an airline’s policy, a change or cancellation may result in a credit to your Card account and/or a credit with the respective airline. In neither case will the points you redeemed for this flight be returned to you. Flight availability and prices of flights are subject to availability and set by the airlines. Eligible routes are based on the International Air Transport Association airport code classification.
If the American Express Installment Program applies to you and you also redeem points for one or more transactions, the Installment Program will take precedence and the credit will apply to your account in the regular course. This could result in you having a credit balance on your account. If you want to reduce the credit balance, you can cancel any active installment plans you may have. See the Installment Program terms and conditions in your Cardmember Agreement for details, if applicable.
American Express can suspend or terminate the Fixed Points Travel Program at any time it deems necessary, and reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to the flight grid above, at any time.
The Terms and Conditions of the American Express Membership Rewards Program will continue to apply. Visit membershiprewards.ca to view the full Membership Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions prevail for the Fixed Points Travel Program.
5. Flexible Points Travel Program - Membership Rewards points are accepted as payment for a wide range of travel options through American Express Travel Services. Membership Rewards points can be used to pay for new travel purchases, including taxes and surcharges. Membership Rewards points are not refundable. Membership Rewards points have no cash value. Travel selections are based on available space and are subject to terms and conditions of travel suppliers. For car rental companies and hotels that do not accept prepaid bookings, contact American Express Travel Services at 1-800-611-1100 or (416) 868-4992 for details about how you can use your Membership Rewards points. In order to redeem points for any travel booking, the Membership Rewards Program account must be active and the Card must be in good standing. If the American Express Installment Program applies to you and you also redeem points for one or more transactions, the Installment Program will take precedence and the credit will apply to your account in the regular course. This could result in you having a credit balance on your account. If you want to reduce the credit balance, you can cancel any active installment plans you may have. 7. Amazon.ca Shop with Points - By participating in Amazon.ca’s Shop With Points program using American Express Membership Rewards (“MR Points”), you agree to these Service Terms as well as Amazon.ca’s Terms of Use (including “Frequently Asked Questions”). Please review them carefully, together with Amazon.ca’s Privacy Notice, to understand Amazon.ca’s practices.
To use your MR Points to purchase eligible items at Amazon.ca, your eligible Membership Rewards program account (“MR Points Account”) must be linked to your Amazon.ca account through the enrollment process. We reserve the right to restrict your use of Shop with Points or to un-enroll your MR Points Account by de-linking it from your Amazon.ca account at any time in our sole discretion, including when we suspect misuse or fraud. You agree that Amazon.com.ca, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “Amazon”) may share information that you have provided to Amazon with Amex Bank of Canada and its affiliates (collectively, “Amex”). Amex may share information with Amazon regarding your Membership Rewards points account for the sole purpose of managing and facilitating the Shop With Points program using membership rewards points. This information sharing allows us to link your Amazon.ca account to your MR Points Account and, once enrolled, Amex may provide Amazon with information about your MR Points Account, including your total MR Points balance. We may also share information that you have provided to Amazon with Amex so that Amex can perform its functions with respect to the Shop with Points program, including processing payments made with MR Points. Neither Amazon or Amex will use information provided to it by the other party in upport of the Shop With Points program for any purpose other than as expressly set forth in this paragraph.
Certain items at Amazon.ca are not eligible for purchase using MR Points, and these items may change at any time. MR Points may not be used when making purchases with 1-Click. If you do not have enough MR Points to pay for your eligible purchase, you can pay for the remainder with the Amex credit or charge card linked to your MR Points Account, or an Amazon.ca Gift Certificate. Your MR Points balance will typically be reduced to reflect the amount of your purchase at the time of your order, but in some cases it may not reflect your use of MR Points for pending purchase transactions until the purchase has shipped or otherwise been fulfilled. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have enough MR Points in your MR Points Account at the time your MR Points are ultimately redeemed. If you don’t have enough MR points remaining in your MR Points account at the time they are to be redeemed, you will be required to authorize another payment method. Your Amex credit or charge card will not be charged automatically. MR Points may not currently be combined with other rewards programs to make eligible purchases using Shop with Points at Amazon.ca.
Returns are subject to Amazon’s returns policy. If Amazon accepts a return for an item you purchased using only MR Points, those MR Points will be credited to your Points Account. If Amazon accepts a return for an item you purchased using MR Points and another payment method, Amazon may, in its sole discretion, credit the return to the other payment method before crediting MR Points to your MR Points Account. This is different from the order in which payment methods (MR points, Amex credit and charge card and stored value card) are applied at the time of purchase. See ordering section of the FAQ for details. If you no longer have an active MR points account or, if applicable, Amex credit or charge card, Amazon may process your return by providing you with an Amazon gift card.
8. Air Canada Pay with Points - By participating in the Pay with Points program (the “Pay with Points Program”) using American Express Membership Rewards® (“MR Points”) when making an eligible purchase on the Canadian edition of AirCanada.com or the Air Canada mobile app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions for the Pay with Points Program for Air Canada (“Terms and Conditions”). Eligible purchases include only those flight purchases made directly on the Canadian edition of AirCanada.com or the Air Canada mobile app. RBC travel insurance purchases are not eligible purchases for the Pay with Points Program. You agree that Amex Bank of Canada and its affiliates (collectively, “Amex”) may collect personal information from Air Canada and its affiliates (collectively, “Air Canada”) that you have provided and that is necessary to facilitate your transaction using Pay With Points for Air Canada. Amex may share information with Air Canada regarding your MR Points account for the sole purpose of managing and facilitating the Pay with Points Program using MR Points. This information sharing allows us to determine your card’s eligibility, and Amex may provide Air Canada with information about your MR Points account, including your total MR Points balance. We may also collect information that you have provided to Air Canada so that we can perform our functions with respect to the Pay with Points Program, including processing payments made with MR Points. Neither Air Canada nor Amex will use information provided to it by the other party in support of the Pay with Points Program for any purpose other than as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
An "Eligible Card" is a valid, Membership Rewards enrolled (a) American Express Consumer Card, (b) Business Card from American Express, or (c) American Express Corporate Card (“Corporate Card”), which must be issued in Canada by Amex. You will only be able to use MR Points if you are the primary account holder of the Eligible Card. In addition, the Eligible Card account must also be in good standing and not in default at the time of redemption. To participate, you must have an Eligible Card and have at least 1 point in your MR Points account. A minimum of 10 points is required to redeem using Pay with Points.
To view your available MR Points balance, go to membershiprewards.ca. MR Point redemption rate will be calculated as determined by Amex and may vary for future purchases.
The total amount for the eligible flight purchase will be charged to your Eligible Card account whether you redeem MR Points towards some or all of the eligible flight purchase amount. When you choose to use MR Points for an eligible purchase, and select “I accept, purchase”, Amex will debit the number of MR Points of your corresponding selection from the Membership Rewards account linked to the Eligible Card. You may select up to the total amount of MR Points required to cover the total purchase amount or up to the full value of your MR Points balance, whichever is less, to the nearest $.01. Furthermore, a statement credit in an amount equal to the dollar amount of your selection will be issued to the Eligible Card account. Please allow up to 2-4 business days for the corresponding statement credit to be reflected on your Eligible Card account. If a statement credit is processed after your Eligible Card account’s billing period, it will appear on your next statement. Remember, the minimum amount due on your Eligible Card account must be paid by the due date.
If there is a processing error with your choice to use MR Points, your Eligible Card will be charged, and the corresponding statement credit will not be issued to the Eligible Card account for your transaction. In this event, if you would like to use MR Points for your transaction, please call the number on the back of your Eligible Card and Amex will be happy to assist you.
Certain transactions on AirCanada.com or the Air Canada app are not eligible for purchases using MR Points in the Pay with Points Program, and these may change at any time and without notice and at Amex’s discretion. If you do not have enough MR Points to pay for your eligible purchase, you can pay for the remainder with your Eligible Card. Your MR Points balance will typically be reduced to reflect the amount of your purchase at the time of your transaction, but in some cases it may not reflect your use of MR Points for pending purchase transactions until the purchase has been fulfilled. Returns are subject to Air Canada’s refund policy. If Air Canada accepts a return for a transaction you made using only MR Points, Air Canada will refund the corresponding dollar amount of the purchase to the Amex card account used. If Air Canada accepts a refund for a transaction you made using MR Points and another payment method, Air Canada may, in its sole discretion, credit the return to the other payment method before crediting the corresponding dollar amount of MR Points. Please allow 2-4 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. In neither case will the points you redeemed for the purchase be returned to you. If you no longer have an Eligible Card account, Air Canada may process your refund by providing you with an Air Canada gift card.
If you use a Corporate Card to make a purchase (whether alone or in conjunction with MR Points), you agree that you are using the Corporate Card in accordance with your company’s policy. In the event that a refund results in a credit to your Corporate Card instead of a return of MR Points, it is your sole responsibility to resolve this with your company and you agree to hold Air Canada and Amex harmless in respect of any loss you or the company may incur.
