Select Computer Hardware, Software, and Cloud Computing
To earn additional rewards on computer hardware, software, and cloud computing, the purchase must be made at a provider that is included on our list of "select computer hardware, software, and cloud computing providers”.
You will earn additional rewards ONLY when you purchase directly from a U.S. location of a company on this list of select computer hardware, software, and cloud computing providers that accept the Card:

U.S. Advertising in Select Media
To earn additional rewards for advertising, purchases of online, television and radio advertising must be purchased in the U.S. directly from media providers in order to promote a business.

U.S. Construction Materials and Hardware
To earn additional rewards in this category, the purchase must be made directly at U.S. construction material and hardware suppliers. Construction material and hardware suppliers are in the primary business of selling a range of supplies, including items like raw materials (e.g., lumber, concrete, metals) and building supplies (e.g., hardware, flooring, paint, plumbing, AC/heating, electrical).
Suppliers in the primary business of selling home furnishings, industrial machinery and equipment, equipment rental, motors and generators, or any construction contracting/services are excluded. Construction supplies purchased at other retail stores are also excluded.

Electronic retailers are in the primary business of selling a range of electronic goods (e.g., Dell Technologies, Newegg*).
Software and cloud system providers are in the primary business of selling programs and data storage, whether downloaded or cloud-hosted (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce*).

Examples of merchants where you will NOT earn additional rewards include:
- Online marketplaces that provide a variety of products outside of electronic goods (e.g., Amazon, eBay)
- Superstores (e.g., Target, Walmart)
- Purchases from wireless telephone and cellular service providers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon)
- Application purchases via aggregator platforms

U.S. Office Supply Stores
To earn additional rewards on office supplies, the purchase must be made at an office supply store in the U.S.
Office supply stores are in the business of selling a range of office supplies including items like paper, notebooks, office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers) and office furniture (e.g., desks, desk chairs and filing cabinets).
Office supplies purchased at other retail stores are excluded.

To earn additional rewards, the purchase must be for monthly wireless telephone service charges and made directly from a wireless telephone service provider in the United States.
The following types of purchases are NOT included for additional Wireless rewards:
- Purchases from authorized retailers, resellers or third party sellers
- Purchases for hardware (e.g., phones and accessories) or repair services
- Bundled services offered by Wireless companies for TV, Internet and VoIP
- VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) services
- Purchases made with Google Fi

You may earn additional points in 2 or more categories from an eligible purchase and that purchase will apply against the specific cap based on the Card product in those categories. Eligible purchases in excess of specified cap for the category in a calendar year will earn only one point for each dollar of eligible purchases.
