User Administration

American Express® FX International Payments offers authorized individuals in your company the flexibility to tailor user permissions to the individual needs of your business. Assigned administrators can add new users and amend the access rights, foreign exchange transaction limits and other account permissions of secondary users.

Current Users Search

 

To access User Administration, go to My Account> User Administration.

 

  • Click on the View/Modify tab for a complete alphabetical list of the names of your existing users. Click on the one you want and then Select.

  • Alternatively, you can Search for a user by inputting their details in the relevant boxes on the left-hand side. Their name will then appear in the list. To view their details, click Select.

  • To modify their details, click Modify Payee in the lower right of the page, then make any changes in the information fields. Alternatively, you can click Delete User.

  • Once you have made any changes, click Save Changes in the lower right of the page. You’ll see a green message indicating your changes were made successfully. To repeat the process, you can click View/Modify Another User.

Steps to view/modify current users access rights with the user name, status and privilege type assigned to them.

Current Users Selected

 

After you have selected them, the user’s Contact Details, Permissions, Settings and Transaction Limits will be displayed. Below the Limits section, there are several options.

 

  • Selecting Delete User will permanently delete the user.

  • Selecting Reset Password will send the user a new temporary password by e-mail. When the user next logs in, they’ll be sent a One-Time PIN and will be asked to choose a new password.

  • Selecting Modify user in the lower right of the page will allow you to modify the user’s Contact Details, Permissions, Settings and Transaction Limits, as long as you have permission to do so.

The user administration interface allows us to manage current users and edit permissions and settings.

Success

 

If successful, you will return to the Current Users Search page and see a message letting you know your user modification was successful. From here, you can select other users to View/Modify.

 

TIP : If your account is set up to require additional approval, any user modifications will need to be approved by another user before the changes are active.

 

TIP : User Administrators should tailor user permissions to the individual needs of their business.
