Frequently Asked Questions
Amex Offers is a programme that rewards you for spend on retail, travel, dining and more. Simply select offers from brands you love, ‘save the offer’ to your Card and use your Card to pay online or instore and the rewards will be applied to your Account. It's easy and complementary for our Cardmembers.
- Any personal or business Cards issued in the UK by American Express Services Europe Limited are eligible to participate in Amex Offers.
- Any valid personal or business American Express Cards issued by a licensed third-party financial institution are eligible for Amex Offers through Connect
- Not Eligible: American Express Corporate Cards, American Express Gift Cards and Prepaid Cards. Please see Programme Terms and Conditions for more information.
If you are issued a replacement Card with a new Card number, your participation in the previously saved offer may end and you will need to save the offer to your new Card.
- Online: Log into your Account online, at americanexpress.com/uk and click the 'Offers' tab. If you don't have an Account online, you can create one by following the instructions, at americanexpress.com/uk.
- Once you create your Account online, new offers will appear on the 'Offers' tab once you log in.
- Mobile: Download the American Express App for iPhone or Android, log in with the same information you use for your account on americanexpress.com/uk, and visit the 'Amex offers' tab.
- If you have an American Express Card issued by a third-party financial institution (if this is the case, it will be indicated on the back of your Card issued by Lloyds Bank PLC, Barclays PLC, TSB Bank PLC or MBNA Europe Bank) you can:visit Connect and find offers.
- Online: Visit Connect to discover and enrol in offers.
If you make a qualifying purchase(s) as indicated in the Offer Terms:Credits or rewards should be credited to your Account within five business days of you meeting the offer spend requirement – however this can take up to 90 days from the offer end date. If you don't see the credit within these time periods, check to make sure you've done all of the following:
- Saved the offer to your eligible American Express Card before making your purchase(s) at the merchant
- Made the purchase(s) with the same American Express Card to which you saved the offer
- Met the purchase requirements (purchase amount or number of purchases) required in the Offer Terms to receive the offer
- Made your purchase(s) before the offer expired
- Made the purchase(s) at an eligible location (online, in-store, participating location, etc.)
- Have not returned or cancelled your purchase
- If you have done all of the above and still don't see the credit within 90 days after the offer end date, please call us on the number on the back of your Card.
If you make a purchase and return the merchandise, we reserve the right to reverse the statement credit or rewards. If the credits have been reversed and the offer has not expired, you can still take advantage of the offer if you make another qualifying transaction and meet the Offer Terms.
No. In order to get the credits, you must make the qualifying purchase using the same Card to which you saved the offer.
No. You must save the offer to your Card first and then make your qualifying transaction using the same Card to receive the credits.
All Offer Terms will state the purchase requirements. Some Amex offers require a single purchase, while others require a minimum total amount spent (one or more transactions). All offers are subject to the stated Offer Terms. Please read them carefully. If you have questions, please call the number on the back of your Card.
