Can I withdraw cash using my American Express® Card?

Yes, your American Express^® Credit Card gives you the flexibility to withdraw cash from any eligible ATM. Below are some important pieces of information you should keep in mind if you decide to do so.

• A cash advance fee of 3% (£3 minimum) will apply to all cash withdrawals.

• Any cash withdrawn will incur interest according to the cash rate as stated on your statement and the terms and conditions of your Card product. It’s important to know that this may be higher than your standard rate for purchases.

• There are two withdrawal limits you should be aware of when it comes to withdrawing cash using your American Express Card:

• Cash Limit – You can find this limit on your statement. Since withdrawing cash is different than using your Credit Card for goods and services, you will have a different amount that can be used for cash at any given point. This is normally set at around 20% of your credit limit and represents how much cash balance you can accumulate on your Account over time.

• Withdrawal Limit – this is the limit of how much you can withdraw within a single 30-day period. This limit is £1,000.

It’s important to know that the withdrawal limit does not let you exceed your Accounts cash limit. In a situation where you have less than the withdrawal limit available on your Accounts cash limit, you will only be able to withdraw up to your total cash limit.
