How can I pay my bill using the American Express® App?


To pay your bill from the Amex App, you must be enrolled in Online Services. Please note that mobile Bill Pay payments can be made once every two hours. Alterntively, you can set up or manage your Direct Debit in your settings. The Pay Bill section is a four-step process:

Step 1. Choose a payment amount. Select either minimum due, balance due, total balance, or specify another amount in the space provided.

Step 2. Confirm the payment method. When you click continue, you will be taken to a screen that allows you to review the payment method, enter the appropriate security code, or choose to pay with a different debit card if you wish.

Step 3. Review your payment and Authenticate. When you click continue, you will be taken to a screen that allows you to review the payment information before submission, and change your payment details if you wish. After you submit your payment, and if required by your bank, you will be taken to your bank's website to authenticate your debit card via 3-D Secure.

Step 4. Receive confirmation. After your payment is authenticated and approved, a new screen will appear with a reference number for this payment.
