Terms and Conditions

For any part of your spend above £120,000 you will only earn 1.0% Amazon Rewards points. For every eligible £1 spent elsewhere you will earn 0.5% Amazon Rewards points. Your spend is calculated in a calendar year from 1 January to 31 December. At the start of every calendar year, the £120,000 cap will reset and you will again earn 2% Amazon Rewards points on the first £120,000 in eligible purchases made during the year when the Amazon Rewards points option applies, provided you have an applicable Prime membership. You will earn 2% Amazon Rewards points back only on purchases made at designated Amazon properties with an applicable Prime membership. If you choose 90-day Payment Terms on a purchase, you will not earn Amazon Rewards points on that purchase, and the amount of your purchase will not count toward the £120,000 cap. PLEASE NOTE Card purchases made at Amazon.com or any other Amazon site such as Amazon.fr or Amazon.de earn 0.5% Amazon Rewards points for every eligible £1. Amazon Rewards points will not be earned on transactions where Payment Terms have been selected, interest, fees (including default fees), cash advances (including transactions treated as cash), loading of prepaid cards, American Express Travellers Cheque purchases or foreign exchange transactions; and any amounts that are subsequently re-credited to your card Account by way of refunds or other types of credit.Your Amazon Rewards Points will show on your American Express rewards balance up to three days after the merchant has submitted the payment to American Express. You can check this on your rewards summary in your Account at americanexpress.co.uk for up to Six (6) months post transaction date.
- If selected on your purchases at Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.co.uk/business or a purchase at Whole Foods UK (must be selected online, in advance of the transaction, in your Amazon account management pages), you will receive an additional 90 (or 89 days in February, except in leap years) before such transactions on your Account become payable when using your Amazon Business Prime American Express Card. Amazon Business transactions will be subject to your available credit limit at any time, and will be shown in your regular statement as a Payment Terms Summary. These transactions will only be added to your outstanding statement balance 90 (or 89 days in February, except in leap years) days from the date of each transaction being applied to your Account.
- You can use Amazon Rewards points to redeem for eligible purchases at Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk/business. You can use your points to apply a credit to your Account against certain fees and/or purchases that we confirm as being eligible (“Eligible Transactions”). The rate at which we convert Amazon Rewards points may vary and we will tell you what the conversion rate is when you arrange the redemption. The conversion rate is also on our website. The credit will appear on your Account approximately three (3) days after you have asked us to redeem the Amazon Rewards points, but may not appear on the same Account statement as the Eligible Transaction. You cannot redeem Amazon Rewards points by way of credit against Eligible Transactions on your Account if you have a credit balance on your Account or if you are late in making payment on your Account. If you redeem Amazon Rewards points in this way, you must still pay the amount due on your Account statement. Minimum redemption thresholds will apply per Eligible Transaction, and we will confirm the applicable minimum when you arrange the redemption.
- The maximum amount of time for a payment period on purchases is 56 days and is obtained only if you spend on first day of new statement period and repay the balance in full on the due date.
- VAT line item detail will be available to download from your American Express Online Account in CSV format for purchases with Amazon Business UK.
