If your Account is currently overdue for payment it will need to be up to date before requesting any change.

Paying Your Bill
There are several ways to efficiently and securely pay your bill online. Simply take your pick from the options below. For more information, visit the Help Centre.
- Direct Debit A Direct Debit automatically makes your payments each month, so you don't have to keep remembering to do it. Set it up via the Amex App or online once you’ve registered for an Online Account. If your current statement has already been produced, you will need to make a manual payment of this as your Direct Debit will only be effective from your next statement date.
- Pay With Bank Transfer Securely pay your American Express bill via a direct transfer from your bank account. It’s simple to use and takes place in just a few quick steps - with no account setup or Card details required. What’s more, with the payment itself being handled entirely by your bank, you benefit from bank-grade security, and none of your payment details being stored by American Express. Pay With Bank Transfer is currently only available in the Amex App.
- Debit Card Enter your Debit Card details to make a Debit Card payment to your Account online or in the Amex App.
- Bank Transfer Use your bank’s internet banking service to initiate a bank transfer. Find the accounting details you’ll need here.
