Avios are sent from your Credit Card Account to your British Airways Executive Club (BAEC) account on a monthly basis, usually 5-6 days before your monthly statement is produced.

This process is automatic, Avios are sent from the Credit Card Account to your British Airways Executive Club (BAEC) account on a monthly basis, usually 5-6 days before your monthly statement is produced. If your personal information has changed on your American Express Account, you must also update that information with BAEC. Benefits
Get a Companion Voucher when you spend £12,000 each membership year on the Card, which you can use to either take a companion with you on the same flight and cabin or, if travelling solo, a 50% discount on the Avios price you pay for your flight. Vouchers are redeemable when you book a British Airways Reward flight in Euro Traveller and World Traveller cabins (economy class) only. Reward flights and Companion Voucher bookings are subject to availability and taxes, fees and carrier charges apply per person.

You can redeem and manage your Companion Voucher online. Simply log in to your British Airways Executive Club account at ba.com using your membership number and password. Availability to redeem the Companion Voucher is dependent on British Airways reward flight availability. Only one Companion Voucher can be earned during your 12 month Credit Card anniversary year.

Statement
In order to receive paperless statements, you must register for an Online Services Account where your statements can be viewed. You will continue to receive statements by post until you have set up an Online Services Account. Registering for Online Services simple and you can do so here.
Registering online
As the primary Cardmember, you can add other Cards to your Account, provided your name and contact details are the same for each Credit Card.
Supplementary or Additional Credit Cards, however, will need to create their own separate Online Services Account.
Your PIN, User IDs and Passwords
PIN
Your PIN number is 4 digit code that you will need to use to authorise Credit Card transactions in-store. You can view, change or unlock your PIN via the Amex App or online by logging in to Online Services at americanexpress.co.uk/PIN
Online Services User ID and Password
When registering for Online Services, you will be asked to set up a User ID and Password. You will need these to log in to Online Services via desktop or the Amex App.
If you forget your User ID or Password, you can reset them online by clicking ‘Forgot User ID or Password’ on the login page. You’ll be asked to remember your answer to the Security Validation Question we asked you when you signed up.
Customer Password
Your Customer password is a 4-digit code used to identify you when you call Customer Services and also to view your PIN online through Online Services.
You can set up your Customer password when you activate your Credit Card online by choosing from four options: Mother’s birthday (DD/MM), Father’s birthday (DD/MM), numeric password (4 digits) or memorable date (DD/MM).
To reset your Customer password, please call Customer Services using the number on the back of your Credit Card.
Card Identification number (CID)
Your 4-digit Card Identification number (CID) is an added security feature to help protect you against fraud. Your (CID) can be found on the front of your Credit Card, above the 15 digit Credit Card number on the right, and printed flat (unlike the Credit Card number). You will be asked to enter this number when viewing your PIN online through Online Services and you may also be asked for this number during phone and online Credit Card transactions.
Supplementary Cardmembers
Yes, Supplementary Cardmembers need to register for their own Online Services Account. Once they have registered, they will be able to view their PIN.
Yes, Supplementary Cardmembers need to activate their Credit Card and register for Online Services. The basic Cardmember cannot do this on the Supplementary Cardmembers behalf.

To add a Supplementary Credit Card to your Account, register and log in at americanexpress.com/uk/register and click ‘Add Supplementary Card’ on your Credit Card Account page. Follow the online Credit Card application steps to apply. Alternatively click here to apply.
A Supplementary Cardmember can view their PIN by registering for and logging in to their Online Services Account here. When managing the PIN online they will be required to enter both the 4-digit Card Identification (CID) number located just above the Account number on the front of their Card and their Customer Password, which is the 4-digit password used when calling Customer Services. They will have the opportunity to set up a Customer Password when activating their Card online.
Marketing Preferences
You can update your marketing preferences by logging in to Online Services at americanexpress.co.uk
Once you have logged in to your Account, select ‘Account Management’, ‘Alerts and preferences’ and ‘Manage your preferences’ then proceed with your preferred options.
British Airways Executive Club account
If you did not submit your current British Airways Executive Club (BAEC) membership information when you applied for the British Airways American Express Credit Card, a BAEC account will be set up on your behalf. British Airways will contact you when your account has been set up with your BAEC information.
You can also find your BAEC information on your American Express monthly statement, which you can access through your online Account at americanexpress.co.uk or through the Amex App under ‘View statements’.
Note: in some cases, it may take up to three weeks for a new BAEC account to be set up.
