1. Terms and Conditions of 50% MORE BONUS Royal Orchid Plus Miles Privilege
• The 50% MORE BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles (“50% BONUS ROP miles”) privilege is only available to Basic THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers who hold a valid THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card (the “Card”) and have accumulated spending by Basic Cardmembers itself or Supplementary Cardmembers in the amount above Baht 100,000 but not exceeding Baht 500,000 (the “Spend Threshold”) from January 1 to December 31, 2024 (the “Qualifying Period”).
• The Cardmembers will be eligible for 50% BONUS ROP miles on top of THAI American Express Platinum base points earned from each Baht 25 spent within the Spend Threshold. For example, where the Cardmembers spend Baht 600,000, the 50% BONUS ROP miles will be calculated on the amount of Baht 400,000 only, which is within the Spend Threshold. The 50% BONUS ROP miles privilege will not be applied to the amount of first Baht 100,000 and the amount in excess of Baht 500,000.
• This privilege is only available to Cardmembers, who meet the following criteria:
i. all accounts of the Cardmembers with American Express are in good standing; and
ii. the Cardmembers must not be in breach of any Terms and Conditions of American Express Cardmembership throughout the Eligible Period and up to the day their Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) accounts are credited with the 50% BONUS ROP miles.
• The 50% BONUS ROP miles will not be calculated on the following transactions:
i. Express Cash transactions
ii. American Express Travelers Cheque purchases
iii. Finance charges – including but not limited to interest rate, credit usage fee and other fees
iv. Tax refunds transactions
v. The points top up payment for Rewards redemption
vi. Purchase of THAI American Express Platinum points
• The privilege is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, unless otherwise indicated.
• 50% BONUS ROP miles will be credited to the Basic Cardmember’s Royal Orchid Plus account and it may take 90 days or more from the statement cut-off date.
• American Express reserves the right to terminate or change the privilege’s Terms and Conditions at any time in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In the event of any dispute arising from this privilege, the decision of American Express shall be final and binding all related parties.

2. Terms and Conditions of Double Royal Orchid Plus miles privilege
• The Double Royal Orchid Plus miles privilege is only available to Basic THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers (“Basic Cardmember”) who purchase THAI tickets or Royal Orchid Holiday packages from THAI ticketing offices located in Thailand or THAI’s website (“Eligible Transaction”).
• The Double Royal Orchid Plus miles are a combination of:
1. Regular THAI American Express Platinum points (“Regular Points”) that Basic Cardmember receives from Eligible Transactions.
2. BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles (“BONUS Miles”) at the amount equivalent to a redemption of Regular Points from number (1) under an effective conversion rate during that specific period of time.
For example: If Eligible Transaction is Baht 6,000
A conversion rate of 1.8 points = 1 mile (effective from April 1, 2020 onwards) Cardmember will receive:
- Regular Points = 360 points or equivalent to 200 miles and BONUS Miles = 200 miles
• American Express (Thai) Co., Ltd. (“American Express”) will credit Regular Points to your Card account on the Eligible Transaction date and transfer BONUS Miles to the Basic Cardmember’s Royal Orchid Plus account within 90 days or more after the month of posted Eligible Transaction.
• This privilege is only available to the Basic Cardmembers, who meet the following criteria: 1) all accounts of the Basic Cardmembers with American Express are in good standing; and 2) the Basic Cardmembers must not be in breach of any Terms and Conditions of American Express Cardmembership throughout the eligible period and up to the day their Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) accounts are credited with the BONUS Miles.
• The offer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, unless otherwise indicated.

5. The first spend benefits are a onetime exclusive offer for THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers. Cardmember will no longer be entitled to these benefits when re-applying for the card. Royal Orchid Plus bonus miles will be credited to qualifying Cardmember within 6-8 weeks following the month of fulfilling the requirement.
6. The first flight benefit is valid for all paid fares, excluding fares in booking classes T/K/S/G/V/W/L. The first flight benefit is a one-time offer for THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers and will no longer be entitled to this benefit when re-applying for the Card. BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles will be credited to the qualifying Cardmember's Royal Orchid Plus membership account within 6-8 weeks following the month of fulfilling the spend requirement. This benefit is provided by Thai Airways International and Thai Airways International may cancel or change the benefit's Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
7. Terms and Conditions for Fast Track to Royal Orchid Plus Gold Status
• Fast Track to Gold Status is a exclusive one time offer to THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers who hold Royal Orchid Plus Silver or Basic status at the time of card approval.
• On card approval, the eligible Cardmember must meet the following criteria within a 12 month period to attain Fast Track Gold status:
- Travel must be on THAI operated international flights on paid fares in Royal First Class or Royal Silk Class.
- This offer is eligible for paid tickets in booking classes F/A/C/D only
- 25,000 Qualifying Miles or 20 international sectors within the defined 12 month period.
- On fulfilling the criteria, Cardmembers will attain Royal Orchid Plus Gold status for a full 2 year term with subsequent Gold status renewals subject to Royal Orchid Plus membership evaluations.
• This is a one time offer that is non-extendable and non-transferable.
8. Terms and Conditions for 50% Discount on Mileage Redemption for Companion Tickets
• 50% discount on mileage redemption tickets can be redeemed only on THAI operated international flights in conjunction with paid tickets in Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class departing from Bangkok only.
• This offer is only eligible for Booking Class F/A/C/D.
• 50% discounted mileage redemption tickets can be redeemed in Thailand and issued at THAI ticketing offices in Thailand only.
• 50% discount on mileage redemption ticket can only be issued upon presentation of an eligible paid ticket and THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card at any THAI ticketing offices. In absence of ticket owner, authorization letter, copy of THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card and copy of the paid ticket are required.
• Cardmembers can redeem for companion tickets for their Award Nominees and must miles will be deducted from their own Royal Orchid Plus account.
• Only one redemption ticket is permitted with one eligible paid round trip ticket.
• Cardmember and Companion must travel on the same flight and in the same class departing from Bangkok. Return travel to Bangkok may be separate.
• This offer is not applicable with supplementary Cardmembers or child tickets. No mileage reductions for child award tickets.
• THAI reserves the right to charge Royal Orchid Plus service fees in conjunction with Award travel and redemption tickets.
9. Terms and Conditions for 50% BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles on selected routes or flights benefit
• Benefit of 50% BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles on selected routes or flights shall be determined by THAI airways.
• 50% BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles on actual distance flown shall be earned on selected routes or flights during designated promotional periods when traveling on paid fares in Royal First Class or Royal Silk Class.
• Fares that are eligible for this benefit are those in Booking Class F/A/C/D only.
• BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles under this benefit shall be calculated from the actual distance earned in addition to standard class of serviced miles; 150% of actual miles flown in Royal First Class and 125% of actual miles flown in Royal Silk Class, as shown in the following example:
Bangkok - Frankfurt
Royal Orchid Plus miles earned from Royal First Class 5,574 x 150% = 8,361 miles
50% BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles on actual distance 5,574 x 50% = 2,787 miles
Total amount of Royal Orchid Plus miles earned = 11,148 miles
• Unless otherwise specified , 50% BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles on selected routes or flights determined by THAI airways means international travel on THAI operated flights departing from Bangkok only.
• Selected routes or flights eligible for 50% BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles benefit shall be communicated in advance to THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers.
• THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers must quote their Royal Orchid Plus membership account number upon reservations to be eligible for this benefit.
• BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles will be automatically credited to the Cardmembers Royal Orchid Plus membership account within 7 days after the date of traveling.
• The 50% BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles under this benefit shall not be deemed as the Qualifying Miles that determine Royal Orchid Plus tier status.
• This benefit is provided by Thai Airways International and Thai Airways International may cancel or change the benefit's Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
10. Terms and Conditions for Complementary Royal First Class Ticket
• On completion of 7.5 round trips or 15 paid flown sectors in Royal First Class while holding the THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card, Cardmember is entitled to one complimentary round trip Royal First Class ticket.
• Valid on THAI international operated flights only.
• This offer is eligible only for paid tickets in booking classes F/A/P.
• Each of the paid 7.5 round trips or 15 sectors must be flown by the Cardmember, and may not be combined with other tickets purchased by the Cardmember in the name of another. The complimentary ticket will be issued based on the following criteria.
- Eight (8) or more flown sectors on regional routes, defined as between Thailand andTHAI destinations within Asia and the Middle East, shall entitle the Cardmember to one (1) Complimentary Royal First Class ticket to a regional destination.
- Eight (8) or more flown sectors on intercontinental routes, defined as between Thailand and THAI destinations in Australia, New Zealand, Europe shall entitle the Cardmember to one (1) Complimentary Royal First Class ticket to an intercontinental destination.
• The Cardmember is entitled to the complimentary ticket each time the criteria of the complimentary Royal First Class ticket is fulfilled.
• Cardmembers will be notified in writing upon being entitled to the complimentary ticket, and the complimentary ticket must be issued within the time period stated on the notification.
• The complimentary ticket is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance.
• The complimentary ticket is transferable to their Award Nominee upon request from the THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmember.
• The complimentary ticket is non-reroutable, non-refundable and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, used in conjunction with other promotions, and is not eligible for Royal Orchid Plus mileage accrual, nor counts towards tier status.
11. Terms and Conditions for THAI Cash Reward
• The Privilege is available to the Basic Cardmembers who hold a valid THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card issued by American Express (Thai) Co., Ltd. ("American Express") only ("Cardmembers").
• The Privilege is applicable for goods and services purchased from THAI which are airfares, Royal Orchid Holidays packages, excess baggage service, THAI Shops, and THAI Restaurants at airports in Thailand.
• The Privilege is applicable for the payment made at THAI Ticket Offices (Viphavadi, Silom, Lanluang, and Suvarnabhumi branches), THAI Contact Center, and THAI website at www.thaiairways.com.
• The minimum amount of THAI American Express Platinum points required for redemption is 3,000 points, which can be converted into Baht 500 credited to the Card account when you make a payment at THAI Airways International Public Company Limited ("THAI").
• Every increment of 3,000 THAI American Express Platinum points can be redeemed for an additional Baht 500 credit value. The total credit value must not exceed the accumulated purchase amount of goods and services made at THAI within the same statement cycle.
• Cardmembers must call our THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Customer Service at 0 2091 2788 for credit redemption within 30 days after the date of purchase with THAI.
• The redeemed amount will be in the form of credit adjustment to the Basic Card account within 30 days after the date of the THAI American Express Platinum points redemption is completed.
• Redeemed THAI American Express Platinum points cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged to cash or other benefits in kind.
• In case of cancellation of purchase, THAI's Terms and Conditions shall apply. The redeemed THAI American Express Platinum points will be reversed in the next billing statement, provided that the Terms and Conditions of THAI allow for the cancellation of the purchased.
• American Express reserves the right to offer the Privilege only to active Basic Cardmembers, whose account are in good standing, and who have not breached any of the Term and Conditions of American Express Cardmembership.
• American Express and THAI reserve the right to cancel, change or modify the Privilege's Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• Should any dispute arise in relation to any aspect of this Privilege, the decision of American Express and THAI shall be final.
• In case of insufficiency of THAI American Express Platinum points redemption, American Express reserves the right not to proceed to redeem the THAI American Express Platinum points for credit transaction.
• The Terms and Conditions of the THAI American Express Platinum points program apply.
12. THAI American Express Platinum Point Program Account
• If you cancel your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account, any THAI American Express Platinum points earned from your cancelled Card Account need to be redeemed immediately after cancellation, otherwise your outstanding balance of THAI American Express Platinum points will be instantly suspended once your Card Account is cancelled.
• If for any reason we cancel your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account according to Card's terms and conditions, we reserve the right to suspend the redemption of THAI American Express Platinum points on your cancelled Card Account.
• Only active THAI American Express Platinum Cardmembers, whose accounts are in good standing and who have not breached any of the Terms and Conditions of American Express Cardmembership until the day the THAI American Express Platinum points are credited to their Card Account, will be eligible for the redemption of the THAI American Express Platinum points under this program. If payment in your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account is overdue, you will not be allowed to redeem the THAI American Express Platinum points accrued in your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account until your Card Account is in good standing.
• If you reinstate your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account, or if we reinstate the Card Account at any point of time, any THAI American Express Platinum points accrued in your previous THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account will not be transferred to the reinstated Card Account.
• No THAI American Express Platinum points shall be accrued in respect of:
a.) Express Cash transactions
b.) American Express Travelers Cheque purchases
c.) Finance charges – including late payment fee, interest and penalty charge for THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card, and Extended Payment Plan (EPP) interest
d.) Tax refunds transactions
e.) Collection fee and returned check fee
f.) The points top up payment
• From time to time, we may offer campaigns which allow you to earn THAI American Express Platinum points faster. The coverage of the campaigns, privileges and eligibility criteria shall be subject to American Express.
• Adjustments to reduce the THAI American Express Platinum points in your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account will be made:
a.) If there are any credits posted to your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account including those arising from returned goods or services or from billing disputes.
b.) Where a Cardmember who received THAI American Express Platinum points with respect to goods or services later receive a cash indemnity for said goods or services under the purchase protection plan and travel inconvenience coverage plan. If the Cardmember has already redeemed the THAI American Express Platinum points, American Express may make adjustments to THAI American Express Platinum points accrued by the Cardmember at a future date.
• THAI American Express Platinum points accrued inyour THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account are not your property and are non-transferable, whether by operation of law or otherwise, either to any other person, entity or Card Account.
• THAI American Express Platinum points accrued in THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Account have no cash or monetary value.
• There is no expiry date for THAI American Express Platinum points earned under THAI American Express Platinum Point Program.
• THAI American Express Platinum points never expired as long as you are current Cardmembers and have not breached any of the Terms and Conditions of American Express Cardmembership.
• Once THAI American Express Platinum points have been converted to Royal Orchid Plus miles, they cannot convert back to THAI American Express Platinum points.
• Each purchase is rounded down to the nearest Thai Baht then multiplied separately by each applicable earn rate to determine the number of THAI American Express Platinum points awarded. However, only full THAI American Express Platinum points will be earned. We will disregard and not accumulate a fraction of a point.
• THAI American Express Platinum points may be converted or redeemed provided that your THAI American Express Credit Card Account is in good standing at the time of the redemption request and only Basic Cardmembers can redeem for the THAI American Express Platinum points. You shall contact American Express and request for THAI American Express Platinum points redemption according to the procedure as prescribed by American Express from time to time.
• You shall release American Express, its subsidiaries and affiliates from any liability regarding the use of the reward. Any dispute concerning rewards shall be settled between you and the service establishment. American Express shall bear no responsibility for resolving such dispute, or for the dispute itself.
13. Terms and Conditions for Miracle Lounge Access Vouchers
• The voucher privilege for gaining access to the Miracle Lounges at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airports (the “Vouchers”), is only available to Basic Cardmembers who hold a valid THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card (the “Eligible Card”) only (the “Cardmembers”).
• The Eligible Cardmembers will receive two (2) Vouchers when spends Baht 100,000 and above (the “Spend Threshold”) from January 1 to December 31, 2024, (the “Eligible Period”).
• The following transactions will not be calculated as eligible transactions for this privilege:
i. Express Cash transactions
ii. American Express Travelers Cheque purchases
iii. Finance charges – including but not limited to interest rate, credit usage fee and other fees
iv. Tax refunds transactions
v. The points top up payment for Rewards redemption
vi. Purchase of THAI American Express Platinum points
• The Vouchers will be delivered to the Eligible Cardmembers within 60 days or longer from the date their spending on the Card reaches the Spend Threshold within the Eligible Period.
• The Vouchers is valid for 6 months, starting from the date of delivery to the Eligible Cardmembers.
• Each voucher allows each Eligible Cardmember a one-time access to the Miracle Lounge.
• The Eligible Cardmembers must present the Voucher and their Eligible Cards to gain access to the Miracle Lounge. The use of the Voucher is limited to the Cardmembers only.
• The Eligible Cardmembers can use the Vouchers to access the Miracle Lounges for 2 hours in the following areas:
Suvarnabhumi Airport:
i. Concourse A Block 2, Level 3 (East Side) - First Class & Business Class
ii. Concourse A1 Level 3 (East Side) – First Class & Business Class

• The privilege is only applicable to Eligible Cardmembers, who meet the following criteria:
i. The Eligible Cardmember’s account is in good standing and/or not cancelled for any reason.
ii. The Eligible Cardmembers must not be in breach of any Terms and Conditions of American Express Cardmembership throughout the Eligible Period to the date they use the privilege.
• Spending on Supplementary Eligible Cards will be counted towards the Basic Cardmember’s spending under this privilege.
• The privilege is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In case the Vouchers are lost, stolen or damaged, no replacements shall be issued.
• American Express reserves the right to terminate or change the privilege’s Terms and Conditions at any time in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In the event of any dispute arising from this privilege, the decision of American Express shall be final and binding all related parties.
14. Terms and Conditions of Special Dining Privileges
• The privileges are only available to Basic Cardmembers, who holds a THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card (the “Card”) only (the “Cardmembers”).
• The privileges are available when payment is fully made through the Eligible Card. No savings will be accorded if the Eligible Card is presented by anyone whose name does not match with the name appeared on the Card.
• The privileges are valid only for food items during lunch and/or dinner, excluding beverages, taxes and service charges (unless otherwise stated).
• For Dine 4 Pay 3 privilege, The Cardmembers will receive a complimentary course menu which has the lowest or equal price.
• The privileges cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.
• The privileges are applicable to one Eligible Card per table, per Party.
• A Party is a group of two (2) or more persons dining at one (1) or more tables. Where there is a request for side by side or nearby tables, this will be considered as one (1) Party and the one (1) Eligible Card per table per visit policy will apply. Request for side by side or nearby table is subject to availability.
• The privileges are not applicable with private events, takeaway items, other special promotional o ers, hotel o ers or programs.
