I've just received my replacement/ renewal card and was expecting a PIN

Cards issued in emergencies from our travel offices or as registered post will not have the CHIP and PIN facility. Instead, they will utilise the Magnetic Strips and Signatures. A permanent CHIP and PIN card will be sent to you automatically (normally within 14 days)."
