What are the benefits of having a Supplementary Card?

A Supplementary Card is a convenient way of allowing trusted employees to share Card benefits you enjoy, such as complimentary Travel Insurance. All HighFlyer points earned from spend on a Supplementary Card will be directly credited into the Singapore Airlines HighFlyer Account linked to the American Express® Singapore Airlines Basic Business Credit Card Account.

Who is responsible for the spend on (and payment of) a Supplementary Card?

I. The Basic Card Member is liable to American Express for all Charges on all Cards of all Card Members issued at the Basic Card Member’s request and the Basic Card Member is jointly and severally liable with each Card Member to American Express for all Charges on each Card issued to that Card Member.

II. The Business is also liable to American Express for all Charges (business related or otherwise) on all Cards of all Card Members issued at the request of the Basic Card Member and is jointly and severally liable with each Card Member to American Express for all Charges on each Card issued to that Card Member.

III. The Supplementary Card Member, is jointly and severally liable to American Express with the Basic Card Member and Business for all Charges on the Supplementary Card issued.

How can I check the balance on a Supplementary Card?

You can check the balance of the Supplementary Card anytime via your Online Account, or by calling the number on the back of your Card. The Supplementary Card spend will be clearly stated on the Basic Card Member’s Card statement and Online Account.

How do I earn HighFlyer points with a Supplementary Card?

All HighFlyer points earned from spend on the Supplementary Card will be directly credited into the Singapore Airlines HighFlyer account linked to the American Express Singapore Airlines Basic Business Credit Card Account.

How many Supplementary Cards can I have?

You can have up to 99 Supplementary Cards, including 2 complimentary ones. Each Supplementary Card beyond your complimentary Supplementary Cards will have an annual fee of S$100.85 (incl. of 9% GST).

How will the Supplementary Card Member receive their Card?

The Supplementary Card will be delivered to the Basic Card Member via post within 5-7 business days of the application being approved. Once received, the Card should be activated before it can be used.
