Membership Rewards points are our way of saying ‘thank you’ every time you spend on your Card. The way we see it, you’ve earned them, so you should be able to use them however you want. There are no limits to how many points you can earn and they never expire. Enjoy!

 

Earn Points

Membership Rewards is our way of thanking you for choosing and using the American Express Card. With this programme, you will receive one Membership Rewards point for virtually every dollar you charge to an enrolled Card.

 

Redeem Points

·       Transfer points to travel, hotel and retail loyalty Programme.

·       Pay with points at online retailers including Harrods, Saks or Mouawad.

·       Pay annual fees for basic and supplementary Cards.

·       Donate to charities such as DSCA.

Membership Rewards eligible spend

Please note that the following are not eligible spend, so will not earn Membership Rewards Points:

·       Interest

·       All fees (including annual membership fees and default fees)

·       Balance transfers

·       Cash advances - including transactions treated as cash

·       Loading of pre-paid cards

·       American express travellers cheque purchases

·       Foreign exchange transactions; and any amounts that are subsequently credited to your card account by way of refunds or other types of credits.
