2022年4月1日の「令和2年改正個人情報保護法」施行に伴い、カード会員申込書等に記載の「個人情報の取扱いに関する重要事項」の規定を改定いたしますので、2022年4月1日以降のカードのお申し込みにつきましては、必ず最新のカード会員申込書等をご利用ください。なお、これに合わせて、カード会員の皆様からのお声に基づき、「カード会員申込書」の大幅な改定を行いました。記入事項や提出方法に変更はございません。

１．各種会員規約の改定の主な変更点

• 「令和2年改正個人情報保護法」が施行されることに伴う、弊社が法人会員の指示に基づき外国にある第三者にカード会員の個人データを提供する場合の規定の整備
• 法人会員が第三者の従業者を管理責任者・連絡担当者として指定する場合の規定の整備
• カードの退会、カードの紛失・盗難時のお手続きの明確化
• 会員資格の一時停止および取消しに関する規定の見直し
• 規約の改定に関する規定の見直し

２．カード会員申込書の改定の主な変更点

• 「個人情報の取扱いに関する重要事項」について、「令和２年改正個人情報保護法」が施行されることに伴う、本人の同意に基づいてカード会員の個人データを越境移転する場合の規定の整備
• 記入欄をより分かりやすいレイアウトに改善
• ご提出方法案内の改善

We will be revising various membership agreements from April 1, 2022.

In addition, with the enforcement of the "Reiwa 2nd Year Amendment Personal Information Protection Law" on April 1, 2022, the provisions of "Important matters regarding the handling of personal information" stated in the Card Member Application Forms will be revised. When applying for a Card after April 1, 2022, please be sure to use the latest Card Member Application Forms. In line with this, we have made a major revision of the "Card Member Application Form" based on the customer voice from our Card Members. However, please note that there are no changes to the information required or submission method.

１．Main Changes to Terms and Conditions

• With the enforcement of the "Reiwa 2nd Year Amendment Personal Information Protection Law", the provisions for providing personal data of Card Member to third parties in foreign countries based on the instructions of corporate members will be established.
• Establishing provisions when Corporate Members designate third-party employees as Authorizing officer(s) / Contractor(s)
• Clarification of procedures for Card withdrawal, lost or stolen Card
• Review of provisions for suspension and revocation of membership
• Amendment of the American Express Corporate Card Membership Agreement (for Corporate Members)

２．Main Revisions to Card Member Application Forms

• Regarding "important matters regarding the handling of personal information", with the enforcement of the "Reiwa 2nd Year Amendment Personal Information Protection Law", the provisions for cross-border transfer of personal data of Card Members based on the consent of the person are established.
• Improved layout of entry fields to make it easier to understand
• Improvement of submission method guidance
