Enjoy the convenience of paying your Card statement dues with UPI

Follow these simple steps:
1. Log in through any UPI-enabled mobile banking app.
2. Enter the UPI ID with your Card number AEBC<15 digit Card number>@SC.
3. Initiate your fund transfer.

Please note:

Payments to the Card account can only be made from a bank account in the Primary Cardmember’s name.
Payments made to an India-issued American Express Card held by a non-resident of India must be made through an NRE/NRO account in the primary Card Member’s name.
American Express is not obligated to process, nor provides any guarantees/warranties for any payment made by a Card Member through a payment aggregator that does not appear on the American Express website or App.
Cardmembers to maintain sufficient balance in their bank account to avoid levying of bounce charges, for payment done via Cheque/Direct Debit.

UPI

Now you can also conveniently pay through UPI (Unified Payments Interface). Log in through any UPI enabled mobile banking app / BHIM and pay.

American Express UPI VPA is AEBC3XXXXXXXXXXXXXX@SC (Please ensure that you put your complete 15-digit Card number beginning with 37 or 34)

Initiate your funds transfer before 5:00 pm for next day credit to your American Express Card, excluding Sunday and banking holidays. Also make sure to put in the correct Card number to avoid a transaction failure.

Subject to timely processing by your bank.
A reference to weekends includes working days falling on either a Saturday or a Sunday of any given week as notified by the Reserve Bank of India or by any other relevant authority. A weekend, however, does not include any holiday as notified by the Bank or by any relevant authority.

NEFT/RTGS/IMPS

Settle your American Express Card bill payments online the very next day from any bank through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). Make sure to fill in the following details while registering your Card as a Payee.

Payee Name - American Express

Payee Account No - 3XXXXXXXXXXXXXX (Please ensure that you put your complete 15 digit Card number beginning with 37 or 34)

Bank Name - Standard Chartered Bank

Payee Account Type - Current

IFSC Code - SCBL0036020

Branch Address - Standard Chartered Bank, Narain Manzil. 23 Barakhamba Road, New Delhi 110001

In case you are making a payment via Standard Chartered Online Banking, the IFSC code is not required. You may select the option 'Transfer to another SCB bank account' to process the payment.

Consumer Cards: Enrol for Autopay and each month we will deduct the total amount due or minimum due (as specified in the enrolment form) from your nominated bank account via the National Payment Corporation Of India's National Automated Clearing House.

You can request for Autopay of your monthly Card bills through an online enrolment form.* Your enrolment will be complete in 5 business days.

Cancellation

To cancel your existing NACH click here.

Corporate Cardmembers can enrol* for Autopay from their Bank account and credit the Card Account with the total amount due in the monthly statement through the National Automated Clearing House (NACH) Debit option introduced by the National Payments Corporation of India(NPCI).

For Individual Liability Corporate Cards – NACH/e-NACH debit should be enabled from the individual Cardmember’s personal bank account.
For Sole Liability Corporate Cards – NACH/e-NACH debit should be enabled from the Company’s bank account.
For Joint and Several, Limited Liability Corporate Cards – NACH/e-NACH debit should be enabled either from the
(i) Company’s bank account or (ii) the individual Cardmember’s personal bank account.
The corporate e-NACH form is applicable for whom payment falls on 21st day from the statement generation date.
The corporate authorized individual is advised to keep their online banking credentials handy while initiating online enrolment of NACH.

Drop Boxes

Find the nearest Drop box location where you can drop your cheque or draft. Please do not drop cash payments in the drop box.

Please make the cheque/draft payable to "AEBC Card No. 3XXX XXXXXX XXXXX". It’s important to know that bill payments made via cheque will not be credited to your Card account until we receive confirmation of the funds from the bank.
