How do I claim a refund of the credit balance on my American Express Card?

In case of any unclaimed credit balance on your Card, please reach out to our customer service support through the number at the back of your Card or on the number provided on your statements.

Please note:

If the unclaimed balance is greater than ₹50,000, You may be asked to provide additional information along with the copy of your bank statement reflecting the last payment made towards your Card, Payee name, Bank account number and IFSC code to facilitate the processing of your Credit Balance Refund request. American Express Customer Service will provide you with the necessary details when you submit your request.

For cancelled American Express Cards

In case you have a cancelled American Express Card with a credit balance, please reach out to our customer service support through the numbers mentioned below.
