Join Letizia Treves, curator at The National Gallery, for an exclusive virtual tour of the highly-anticipated exhibition Artemisia. It is the first UK show celebrating the work of Artemesia Gentileschi, an Italian, female artist of the 17th-century. Working in the style of Caravaggio, she is now considered one of the most accomplished Baroque artists in her own right.

Letizia Treves talks through some of the 30 works, gathered from public and private collections worldwide, the majority of which have never been seen in the UK before. As she does so, she also reveals more about the artist’s life and fascinating personality. A pioneering female artist who defied conventions, the exhibition will also include her personal letters and will also include some of her personal letters and other documents revealing details about her life – many of which have never been shown in public.
