Your Purchases Protected With No Worries Guarantee

45 DAYS COVER - 

Enjoy more peace of mind when you make a purchase. Our 45 Days Cover insures you against accidental damage or theft for any eligible item purchased with your Platinum Card for up to 45 days from the date of purchase. This cover is subject to a maximum of HK$30,000 per item and HK$150,000 per Card account per year, with a deductable of HK$150 per item.

RETURN GUARANTEE - 

With Return Guarantee, you can "buy now and decide later". Should you change your mind about something that you bought in Hong Kong, you can return your eligible item directly to American Express. Just bring it back to us within 30 days of purchase and we will give you a refund, up to a maximum of HK$5,000 per item and HK$15,000 per card account per year with a deductible of HK$150 per item.

PRICE PROTECTION -

If within 14 days of buying something at full retail price, you see an identical item for purchase at a lower price at an alternative retail outlet in Hong Kong, we'll refund the difference, subject to a minimum difference of HK$150 and a maximum refund of HK$2,500 per item and HK$15,000 per Card account per year.

EXTENDED WARRANTY -

When you make a purchase with The Platinum Card, we will extend the original manufacturer’s warranty of 1 to 3 years by up to one year. Once the original manufacturer’s warranty expires, Extended Warranty protection takes effect. The warranty covers the cost of labor and spare parts used in any process of repairing covered by the terms of the original warranty. The maximum coverage is HK$40,000 per item and HK$150,000 per Card account per policy year.
