GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS* 

1. American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) is not the provider of the services or related goods, pursuant to this offer, and makes no representation or warranty in relation to the same. American Express will also not be liable to Cardmembers, in relation to the services or related goods provided pursuant to this offer.

2. American Express and the participating partners reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

3. Should any dispute arise, the decision of American Express and the participating partners shall be final.

4. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

Fine Hotels + Resorts Programme Benefits (“Benefits’) – Terms and Conditions 

1.   Valid only for new Fine Hotels + Resorts bookings made through Platinum Travel Service, American Express Travel Online.

2.  Payment must be made in full with an American Express Card in the Platinum Card Member's name.

3. Available for The Platinum Card Members and only, and excludes American Express® Platinum Credit Cardmembers who are not also The Platinum Card Members.

4. Card Member must travel on itinerary booked to be eligible for benefits described.

5. Noon check-in and room upgrade are based on availability and are provided at check-in.

6. Breakfast amenity varies by property, but will be, at a minimum, a continental breakfast.

7. Complimentary In-Room Wi-Fi is provided, with the exception of explora Patagonia where In-Room Wi-Fi is not available. In this instance, complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided in a common space on property. In the case where a Property includes cost of Wi-Fi in a mandatory resort fee, the Cardmember will receive a daily credit from the Property in the standard amount that the Property charges for Wi-Fi. The credit will be issued on the Cardmember's final statement upon check-out.

8.  Benefit restrictions vary by Fine Hotels + Resorts property and cannot be redeemed for cash, and may not be combined with other offers unless indicated.

9. Advance reservations are recommended for services such as spa, dining or golf in order to take advantage of the Fine Hotels + Resorts special amenity during your stay. Benefits and additional Fine Hotels + Resorts promotions are only applied at checkout and expire at checkout.

10.  Limit one benefit package per room, per stay.

11.  Three room limit per Cardmember, per stay; back-to-back stays within a 24-hour period at the same property considered one stay.

12.  Participating Fine Hotels + Resorts properties and benefits are subject to change.

Fine Hotels + Resorts Benefits Special Offer ("Special Offer") - Terms and Conditions

1. During the promotion period, Special Offer (“Special Offer”) are available for new bookings made through American Express Travel Online or Platinum Travel Service with participating properties and valid only for Basic and Supplementary Card of The Platinum Card® issued by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) ("Eligible Cards", such holders, "Eligible Cardmembers")
2. Fine Hotels + Resorts program benefits (“Benefits”) can be used in conjunction with Special Offer during the promotion period. Special Offer refers to the additional offer provided by the participating property on top of the existing Benefits, which will be updated from time to time without prior notice. Please refer to the list of Special Offer for details.  
3. Benefits are bound by Fine Hotels + Resorts Terms and Conditions. Special Offer is bound by both Fine Hotels + Resorts Terms and Conditions and Fine Hotels + Resorts Special Offer Terms and Conditions.
4. Special Offer is only combinable with Benefits but not combinable with other offers unless indicated, including but not limited to lower rate offers.
5. Special Offer booking is valid from 12:00 a.m. on June 1, 2023 to the designated booking end date of the participating properties in the list of Special Offer (Hong Kong Time) (“Promotion Period”). The booking and the stay must be made and completed on or before the designated booking and travel end date (Hong Kong Time). Booking and travel end dates of the respective participating properties may vary, please refer to the list of Special Offer for details.  
6. In certain circumstances, Special Offer may be canceled prior to the end of the booking period without prior notice. If you don’t find this offer with the participating property, it’s no longer available. Please check with the participating property or The Platinum Card Service prior to booking.
7. A minimum stay of 3 or 4 consecutive nights is required for the Special Offer and varies by property, including the complimentary night, please refer to the list of Special Offer for details.
8. Blackout dates apply to the Special Offer and vary by property, please refer to the list of Special Offer for details. 
9. Only designated room categories are eligible for the Special Offer and vary by property, please check with the participating properties for details.
10. Any complimentary nights of the Special Offer will be reflected at the time of booking. Applicable taxes and fees for the complimentary nights, if already charged, will be removed at check-out.
11. Special Offer bookings may require pre-payment or advance deposits. Please refer to American Express Travel Online or Platinum Travel Service for details.
12. Special Offer bookings must be made using an Eligible Card and must be paid in full using that Card in the Eligible Cardmember's name, and that Cardmember must be traveling on the itinerary booked.
13. Noon check-in and room upgrade are subject to availability and provided at check-in. Certain room categories are not eligible for upgrade. Please check with the participating properties for details.
14. The type of experience credit varies by property. The experience credit will be applied to eligible charges up to the amount of the experience credit.
15. Advance reservations are recommended for certain experience credits.
16. The type and value of the daily breakfast (for two) vary by property. Breakfast will be valued at a minimum of US$60 per room per day.
17. If the cost of Wi-Fi is included in a mandatory property fee, a daily credit of that amount will be applied at check-out.
18. Benefits and Special Offer are applied per room and per stay (with a three-room limit per stay).
19. Back-to-back stays booked by a single Cardmember, Cardmembers staying in the same room or Cardmembers traveling in the same party within a 24-hour period at the same property are considered one stay and are ineligible for additional Benefits (“Prohibited Action”).
20. American Express and the Participating Property reserve the right to modify or revoke the Benefits and Special Offer at any time without notice if we or they determine, in our or their sole discretion, that Cardmembers may have engaged in a Prohibited Action, or have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with the Benefits and Special Offer.
21. Benefit and Special Offer restrictions vary by property.
22. Benefits and Special Offer cannot be redeemed for cash and are not combinable with other offers unless indicated.
23. Benefits and Special Offer must be used during the stay booked.
24. Any credits applicable are applied at check-out in USD or the local currency equivalent.
25. Benefits, Special Offer, participating properties and property availability and amenities at those properties are subject to change without prior notice.
26. Participating Property is solely responsible for all products, services, consultations and advice offered to Eligible Cardmembers. American Express is not the provider of any of the products and/or services herein and makes no representation or warranty in relation to the same.
27. American Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any of the products/services, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
28. American Express reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions, suspend or terminate the Special Offer at any time without prior notice.
