Use the Corporate Card for your everyday business expenses too
By using the Corporate Card for regularly recurrent spending (advertising costs, software licenses, office supplies, business lunches and dinners, fuel, parking, online newspaper and magazine subscriptions) as well as only for expenses related to travel, your company will benefit from various advantages. On 14 September 2019, an important part of the revised EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2) came into force: Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). This means that all card providers, including American Express, have to verify the identity of customers more often in online transactions, contactless payment in stores and when logging into an online account.
SafeKey is the American Express function that uses the latest 3D Secure technology. SafeKey appears when Cardholders make payments online. It helps to protect them from fraud by confirming that it really is the Cardholder who is making the purchase.
To keep online shopping smooth, simple and secure, Cardholders can add websites they often visit to their Express List. We will not send confirmation codes for those online stores unless we need to check the Cardholder’s identity.
