Joining the American Express Membership Rewards programme is easy!
If you are an American Express Platinum Credit Cardmember, relax, you are automatically linked to the programme. You are ready to start earning and joying your Membership Rewards points.

Earning
To earn points you simply need to use your American Express Card for your everyday purchases and watch your points add up. You can also earn points for spending made with Supplementary Cards (additional Cards, linked to your profile, that you can give to friends and family).
If you have an American Express Platinum Credit Card, you will earn 1.5 Membership Rewards for every R5 eligible* spend spent using your card. If you have an American Express Gold Credit Card, you will earn 1 Membership Rewards point for every R5 eligible* spend using your card. And if you are an American Express Business or Corporate Cardmember, you will earn 1 Membership Reward point for every R5 eligible* spend using your card.
