Dainelle Riley noticed a lack of college apparel representing her beloved HBCU (Historically Black Colleges & Universities). She decided to take matters into her own hands by creating the HBCU Culture Shop. The HBCU Culture Shop provides apparel that is accessible & fashionable; apparel that provides an outlet for Black alumnae & HBCU supporters to deliver a statement of pride.
By participating in American Express’s 100 for 100 Program, Dainelle is able to have access to resources to help her business flourish and further support HBCU alumnae. In this video, Dainelle shares her hopes for the future of HBCU Culture Shop. Learn more about the 100 for 100 Program and other Founders of Change.
