Hello, I'm Dr. Towanna Burrous VISIT MY WEBSITE: www.coachdiversity.com For 15 years, I balanced a successful career in project management serving at various levels of leadership with living my purpose as a social entrepreneur working with at-risk teenage girls with academic achievement. I BECAME A COACH: In 2009, I became a certified professional coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). I BECAME FRUSTRATED & NEEDED HELP: My business grew overnight and I quickly discovered the need to have a team of coaches to help me manage new clients. The fix was simple, but it was hard to find black certified professional coaches. I thought, "With my access to resources, this was harder than it should have been. If this is hard for me, then what is happening to the clients who are looking for black coaches all over the world?" MY SOLUTION: In that moment, I decided to increase the visibility of black coaches to help potential clients find the "coach of their choice." That is how the Black Life Coaches Network was born. I feel blessed that it has already helped over 300 coaches with their business growth and hundreds of thousands of black people in the US, Canada, South Africa, and UK by providing them with life changing workshops, webinars, articles, motivational videos and other educational products. WHEN YOU WORK WITH ME: As a proficient Project Manager and intuitive problem solver, I help coaching professionals, public figures and social entrepreneurs develop achievable action plans for a variety of high visibility projects. I am their accountability partner to get the project completed right the first time.
