I've been told I'm a natural 'Netweaver', connecting the dots from one person/business to another. I get so much joy from helping others get closer to their goals and have learned, in turn, that what goes around, comes around. Day-to-day, I act as a match-maker for businesses in need of reducing their cost on credit card processing or to get set up at competitive rates, with no contracts, and with an honest processor (which is rare if you have any familiarity with this industry). If you need a sounding board for business resources or merchant services, I'm your gal. Because of my love for connecting people, I founded Network Under 40 in March of 2011. We host monthly events in cities around the Southeast that boast 200+ young professionals who want to make friends and business contacts. It's the place to be for Under 40s who don't want a business card shoved in their face and don't want to feel like they're in a singles scene guised as a networking event. I also have a passion for teaching the next generation sound personal financial lessons so I authored a series of books called "Finance Whiz Kids", the first of which is currently published called "Money-Making Sunny". It's a great resource for adults in the lives of elementary-aged children to help them learn about money in fun and engaging ways. In the back of each book is a helpful guide for parents to institute the lessons into their homes. Through all of these experiences, I've become a contributing writer to a number of publications like Inc, Forbes, and Little Pink Book.
