Dani Fankhauser

Dani Fankhauser is a entrepreneur and journalist. A graduate of Medill School of Journalism’s masters in journalism program, Dani began her career as an editor at Firebrand Media, a suite of luxury lifestyle publications in Orange County, Calif. She joined Flud, an award-winning mobile news application, to explore new content distribution methods and business models in journalism, and led outreach to press, partners and users. At Mashable, Dani helped scale the branded content team and expand the scope of brand partners. She launched branded content at Bustle, a fast-growing online publication that is redefining women’s interest. Dani has appeared on panels for TechinMotion, Online News Association and hosted a Twitter chat on branded content for #WJchat. She holds a M.S.J in interactive journalism from Northwestern University and a B.A. in business administration.
