Why is this necessary? 

To ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements, American Express needs to collect and periodically check your Company information. This applies to all financial institutions, and we need this information to avoid disruption to your American Express® Business Card(s).

 

How can I provide this information?

 

We have partnered with a third-party vendor to collect this information via their Portal.

  1. You will receive an email from customerverificationaenb@verify.americanexpress.com sharing what information we need and the deadline to provide the information by.
  2. If you are a new user to the portal, your email will contain a PIN number.
  3. Access the Portal* and use the PIN or your existing portal credentials to log in and start the questionnaire.

The data we collect will not be stored outside of American Express secure locations. What information do we need?

 

To ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements, American Express needs to collect and periodically check your Company information. This applies to all financial institutions, and we need this information to avoid disruption to your American Express® Business Card(s). The following information is required:

 

  • Full Legal Entity Name exactly as it appears on your legal documentation such as your Form W-9 (i.e. do not abbreviate unless your legal name uses an abbreviation).
  • Doing Business As (DBA) Name.
  • Company Structure.
  • Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) for non-sole proprietors. The TIN is a 9-digit number and should be entered into the TIN field in the questionnaire without any spaces or dashes.
