How to complete your daily Card actions from American Express Business BlueprintTM

Designed with small business owners like you in mind, Business Blueprint helps you manage your cash flow with ease, empowering you to make more informed business decisions. Business Blueprint also ensures that your familiar American Express Card-related actions – from making payments to viewing transactions – are just one-click away.

 

The following guide will show you how you can manage many of your daily Card actions using Business Blueprint. You can access these features by navigating through the switcher located at the top corner of your screen, or by clicking on the American Express Card accounts displayed on your dashboard.

Task 1: Make a payment

You can quickly pay your bill across any of your American Express Business Cards. Just head to your Business Blueprint dashboard and click the “Make a Payment” button located on the top left of the screen under your name.

Pro tip: Making a payment is simple. Choose your payment amount, then select your bank account and payment date. Please note that credit and debit cards won't be accepted as a source of payment for outstanding bills. Learn more.


Task 2: View your Card transactions

You can easily view your American Express Card transactions by clicking Business Blueprint at the top corner of the screen or selecting your Card account balances on the dashboard. Either action will take you to a familiar page where you can navigate to your transaction history and billing statements.

Pro tip: For a more flexible analysis of your transactions, you can sort, filter, and download your two previous years of transaction history as a PDF, Excel, or CSV file. Learn more.


Task 3: View and redeem Membership Rewards® points

Clicking on Business Blueprint at the top corner of your screen or your Card account balances on the dashboard will take you to a familiar page where you can view the Membership Rewards® points you’ve earned or “Explore rewards” to redeem them.

Task 4: View your Card benefits

For a clearer picture of your Card benefits, simply click Business Blueprint at the top corner of your screen or select your Card account balances on the dashboard. Either option will take you to a familiar page where you can easily navigate to your rewards and benefits.

Task 5: Update your profile details or preferences

You can quickly navigate to your account settings and change your profile details or preferences by either clicking Business Blueprint located at the top corner of your screen or selecting your Card account balances on the dashboard. This will take you to a familiar screen where you can easily make your updates.

American Express Business Blueprint is the small business digital experience that allows a customer to view on one digital dashboard summary account information for the following American Express small business products: American Express® Small Business Credit Cards, the American Express® Business Line of Credit, American Express® Business Checking, and American Express® Payment Accept.  The customer can also choose to link their third party issued business bank accounts and business credit cards to Business Blueprint.  Not all third party accounts or cards are able to be connected to Business Blueprint.  Business Blueprint allows the customer to view data insights and to track their business cash flow and expenses by viewing reports that American Express prepares using the customer’s linked account information.  Business Blueprint provides a 30-day bank account balance projection, using the daily balances from the customer’s linked bank accounts from the last 90 days. To be used in the account balance projection, the customer’s bank account must have at least 90 days of data available.  While the cash flow management service from Business Blueprint is currently free, each of the business products from American Express that are visible in Business Blueprint has its own fees, eligibility criteria, application process and approval requirements. American Express® Business Line of Credit

American Express® Business Line of Credit offers access to a commercial line of credit ranging from $2,000 to $250,000 however, you may be eligible for a larger line of credit based on our evaluation of your business. Each draw on the line of credit will result in a separate installment loan. All loans are subject to credit approval and are secured by business assets. Every loan requires a personal guarantee. Total monthly fees incurred over the loan term range from 3-9% for 6-month loans, 6-18% for 12-month loans, 9-27% for 18-month loans, 12-18% for 24-month loans, and are subject to change for future loans drawn under the available line of credit. Loans incur a loan fee for each month you have an outstanding balance. Not all customers will be eligible for the lowest fee. Not all loan term lengths are available to all customers. Eligibility is based on creditworthiness and other factors. Not all industries are eligible for American Express® Business Line of Credit. Pricing and line of credit decisions are based on the overall financial profile of you and your business, including history with American Express and other financial institutions, credit history, and other factors. Lines of credit are subject to periodic review and may change or be suspended, accompanied with or without an account closure. Late fees may be assessed. Loans are issued by American Express National Bank.
