Card Assistance Abroad
Travel well, travel safe
It makes a world of difference knowing you and your Card are safe and secure abroad with
American Express Worldwide Travel Card assistance. Wherever you go, we're with you all the way.
Global Card protection
Leave your worries at home when you travel. You don't need to tell us when you're going abroad. Our intelligent security systems monitor your Card use for anything unusual. We won't decline your purchase just because you've made it in another country. If we spot something unusual, we'll take action right away to help protect you from fraud.
Emergency Card replacement
Has your Card been lost or stolen abroad? Don't worry. We'll get a replacement to you usually within two working days. Added your Card to Apple Pay, Amex Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay? We'll update your new one instantly in your mobile wallet, too.
If you're overseas, contact us here.
You can freeze (up to 7 days) or unfreeze your Card through our mobile app to limit purchases if it is misplaced, without closing your Account completely.
Global Assist
No matter where you are in the world*, if it matters to you, it matters to us. From lost luggage to delayed departures, our Global Assist Helpline is ready and waiting. Answered around the clock, we'll do whatever we can to help. Call us at the phone number on the back of your Card or visit here. We go the distance to help you.
*Not all services are available in all locations, and all are subject to local laws. Travel-related advice is complimentary, but you may be required to pay for any arranged services provided.
