(1)Insurance Member-Get-Member Referral Programme Terms and Conditions
1. Only American Express Basic Card Members (the "Referrer") holding Eligible Cards (as defined below) issued by American Express International Inc. (“Amex”) in Singapore are eligible to participate in this Insurance Member Get-Member (MGM) Referral Programme. By participating in the Insurance MGM Referral Programme, the Referrer warrants and confirms in relation to the referred individual (the "Referee") that:
(a) the Referrer will indemnify Amex for any loss, damage or liability suffered or incurred by Amex arising from or in relation to the Insurance MGM Referral Programme; and
(b) the Referral Link will only be sent to individuals with whom the Referrer has an existing relationship with, such as friends or family.
2. Eligibility to participate in this Insurance MGM Referral Programme is based on your overall credit rating and other factors including your account history with Amex, and we may decline to allow a Referrer to participate without giving any reason.
3. Referee(s) must apply for an insurance plan via the unique link issued to the Referrer by Amex (the “Referral Link”) and make payment with an Eligible Card (as defined below). If the Referee has already purchased an insurance plan without using the Referral Link, both Referrer and Referee will not be eligible for any rewards under the Insurance MGM Referral Programme.

5. This Insurance MGM Referral Programme is not valid with any other on-going offers, promotions, vouchers, rebates or privileges, unless otherwise stated.
6. Self-referrals will not be accepted for this Insurance MGM Referral Programme. Referrals between Basic Card and Supplementary Card, or between Eligible Cards held by the same Cardmember will be regarded as self-referral and will not be accepted for this Insurance MGM Referral Programme.
7. Only one referral for each Referee will be accepted for this Insurance MGM Referral Programme. In the event that a Referee is referred by more than one Referrer, the successful referral will be based on the details of the Referrer as confirmed by the Referee.
8. To be eligible to participate in the Insurance MGM Referral Programme, the Referrer and Referee must each hold at least one of the following card(s) issued by Amex in Singapore (each an “Eligible Card”):
- The Centurion® Card
- The Platinum Card®
- The American Express® Platinum Reserve Credit Card
- The American Express® Platinum Credit Card
- The American Express® Gold Card
- The American Express® Personal Card
- The American Express® Rewards Card
- The American Express® True Cashback Card
- The American Express® Singapore Airlines Solitaire PPS Credit Card
- The American Express® Singapore Airlines PPS Club Credit Card
- The American Express® Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Ascend Credit Card
- The American Express® Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Credit Card
- The American Express® Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card
- The American Express® CapitaCard
9. By participating in the Insurance MGM Referral Programme, it is agreed that any insurance plans purchased by the Referee must not be cancelled for any reason. If the Referee cancels the insurance plan within six (6) months from the date of purchase, Amex may charge such amounts equivalent to any rewards given to the Referrer's and Referee's Amex Card Accounts respectively.
10. By participating in the Insurance MGM Referral Programme, it is also agreed that Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited (“Chubb”) may contact the Referee to verify that insurance policies purchased by the Referee under the Insurance MGM Referral Programme are in accordance with its terms and conditions, and Chubb may request for supporting documentation for such purposes. 11. Amex reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate this Insurance MGM Referral Programme, or make changes to these terms and conditions due to business reasons, change in contractual terms with our partners, unforeseen circumstances or matters beyond our reasonable control. Should any dispute arise, the decision of Amex shall be final.
