- These Terms and Conditions (including the benefit description above) apply to the Platinum Global Dining Benefit. All references to Platinum Global Dining Benefit within these Terms and Conditions shall refer to both the Local Dining Credit and Abroad Dining Credit (both as defined below).
- Enrolled1 Card Members will be eligible to receive a maximum of S$200 in statement credits on spend at participating local restaurants (“Local Dining Credit”) and a maximum of S$200 in statement credits on spend at participating abroad restaurants (“Abroad Dining Credit”) during each Redemption Period (as defined below). Spend can be in one or more transactions.

- 1To be eligible for the Local Dining Credit and the Abroad Dining Credit, you are required to enrol for each of the Local Dining Credit and the Abroad Dining Credit via your Amex Offers from 1 February 2023. Card Members who have enrolled for the Local Dining Credit and the Abroad Dining Credit will automatically remained enrolled for the following Redemption Periods and do not need to enrol again.
- A “Redemption Period” is from 1 January to 31 December of each calendar year, and a new Redemption Period begins on 1 January of the following calendar year. The Platinum Global Dining Benefit expires on 31 December 2024. The expiration date for the Platinum Global Dining Benefit may be changed by American Express at its sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice to you.
- Any Local Dining Credit and Abroad Dining Credit not redeemed during the applicable Redemption Period will not roll over to the following Redemption Period and will expire. Your American Express Card must be charged prior to the end of each Redemption Period for you to be eligible for the Local Dining Credit and Abroad Dining Credit within that Redemption Period.
- For the Abroad Dining Credit, any currency conversion fee applied on transactions do not count toward the benefit. Please refer to your Card Member Agreement for more information about Foreign Exchange Charges on your Card.
- This Platinum Global Dining Benefit is only available to basic Card Members of The Platinum Card® issued by American Express in Singapore. If you switch to a new Card product that is not eligible for the Platinum Global Dining Benefit, your enrolment in the Platinum Global Dining Benefit will be removed from your Card Account. If a Card you hold is ineligible, you will not be able to see the Platinum Global Dining Benefit and you will not be able to save the Benefit to the Card. If you are no longer eligible for the Platinum Global Dining Benefit due to a change in your Account status, including but not limited to fraudulent flags, suspension, or cancellation, the Platinum Global Dining Benefit will be removed from your Account.
- The Platinum Global Dining Benefit is only available for dine-in services and excludes purchases of gift cards and vouchers, payments of upfront deposits to the participating restaurants (including pre-payment for meals and payments to secure reservations), cancellation and no-show charges, take away and/or dine-at-home services.
- The Platinum Global Dining Benefit is limited to the Card to which the Benefit is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Platinum Global Dining Benefit. Transactions made with a Supplementary Card or an Additional Card are not eligible for the Local Dining Credit and Abroad Dining Credit.
- Transactions made online and/or through a third-party establishment or payment processor are excluded from the Platinum Global Dining Benefit.
- Statement credits awarded under the Local Dining Credit and Abroad Dining Credit generally appear on your billing statement within 30 business days from the qualifying spend but may take up to 150 days or more from the transaction date.
- Statement credits awarded under the Local Dining Credit and the Abroad Dining Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.
