The Corporate Meeting Card supplements your existing Corporate Card programme by creating a single account that allows you to consolidate and track all spending related to meetings and other events—both in-person and online. The American Express Corporate Meeting Card makes meeting expenses accounting easier, by giving you visibility and control over all your meeting and event expenses, all in one place.
When you implement the Corporate Meeting Card programme for your company, you can make Corporate Meeting Cards available for departments or individuals. Your Account Manager will work with you to customise a programme, determine controls to drive value, and set up data feeds. Custom reporting is available via @ Work and you can use this information to track spending against your budget, set parameters for how much and with whom employees can spend, and negotiate volume discounts with preferred suppliers.
American Express Corporate Meeting Cards is a Charge Card. A Charge Card must be paid in full each month and as your spending and payment patterns evolve, so do your purchase approvals. This can be helpful for some of the large payments often associated with events and meetings, such as venue down payments, keynote speaker fees and group travel costs.
