Earn rewards after you apply and are approved for an eligible American Express® Card. You can earn additional Membership Rewards points for just spending on certain categories, depending on your Card. Terms and Conditions apply.
Membership Rewards is the loyalty program of American Express. For every dollar spent on an eligible American Express Card, Membership Rewards points are earned and credited to your Card Account. Points can then be redeemed for travel rewards, shopping rewards, entertainment rewards and more. As long as you’re an active Card Member and your Account is in good standing, points will never expire.
Redeem points by logging in to your Membership Rewards Account where you can browse the different redemption options available. Once logged in, follow the prompts on screen to use points on the redemption option you choose. Membership Rewards points can be redeemed for eligible flights, accommodation, gift cards, shopping and more.
You can redeem points for a range of rewards as listed on this page: gift cards, transfer points to airline and hotel partners, shop with points at select retailers or cover your card charges to pay off your statement. Membership Rewards redemptions span across travel, retail, entertainment and dining categories.
Choose a Card that earns Membership Rewards points here. Depending on your Card, you may be instantly enrolled in Membership Rewards. If your Card is not automatically enrolled in Membership Rewards, you can do so by calling the number on the back of your Card. For Corporate Card holders, you may enrol in Membership Rewards if your company has chosen to participate in the program. Speak to your Program Administrator for more information .
