You now have 24/7 access to our customer service team through the live chat in the Amex App. In addition to the existing functionalities available such as viewing your transactions, checking your Membership Rewards Balance and managing your account, you can now use the chat feature for all of your card related questions. The chat is only available in English.

How it works:
Step 1
Download or update the Amex App on your smart phone and open the App.
Step 2
To start a chat, click on the chat icon in the top right corner of your screen.
Step 3
Make sure to turn on push notifications and start chatting.
When can I use Ask Amex?
With Ask Amex you can chat whenever and wherever you are. Ask Amex is the most efficient way to get answers to your questions about transactions, card activation, your online account, resetting your password or any other card related issues. Ask Amex is only available in English.
