This Spanish cuvée flatters the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of mulberries, blueberries, black currants and blackberries. These are joined by hints of smoked meat, oak and brown bread.
On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully dense. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Intruso Montsant Oak Aged flatters with a pleasing feel on the palate, without lacking juicy liveliness.
The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by slate and clay.
