Las Vegas Travel Guide

Known for its epic live perfomances, numerous casinos and high end shopping centres, Las Vegas is a whirlwind of fun, luxury and indulgence.

An impressive selection of luxury Las Vegas hotels.

Day or Night here are some of the city's must sees and dos.

When is the best time to visit Las Vegas?

Thanks to its desert location, Las Vegas sees minimal rainfall throughout the year, and very few cloudy days. This can mean that the spring and autumn – when temperatures hover around average – are pleasantly warm. Visitors in the summer will need plenty of sun protection; in winter only a light extra layer of warmth.

Travelling to Las Vegas

When arriving at Harry Reid International Airport, there are two main methods of getting to the centre. Take the CX Express for 20 minutes and find yourself on Tropicana Avenue. The fastest way to buy a pass is on the rideRTC app or using the ticket machine found at Terminal One.

There are a number of shuttle companies that operate routes from the airport right to the heart of Las Vegas. AWG Ambassador, BellTrans and Kaptyn all offer competitive prices, and once booked can be found right outside the terminal.

Getting around Las Vegas

Public Transport in Las Vegas

The Deuce is the bus network in Las Vegas and operates on two routes. Deuce on the Strip stops at every resort on the Strip, and runs round the clock, with buses available roughly every 15 minutes. The DVX, while running a less extensive timetable (one or two buses an hour) takes you to the northern outskirts of the city.

The Las Vegas Monorail is also a quick way to get up and down the Strip, with tickets priced at only $5 or $15 for unlimited day travel.

Cabs in Las Vegas

Las Vegas cab companies cannot pick up on the Strip, but there are taxi stands at major attractions or hotels. Fares vary, but are higher for airport ride.
