    • 1. How do I redeem my points?

      Redeeming is easy.

      If you're enrolled in online services simply visit membershiprewards.co.uk and log in to your Membership Rewards account. You may then search for and select your rewards. If you have not registered for online services, click here to enrol today. Alternatively, if you do not have online access or would prefer to discuss and redeem your reward over the telephone, you can call us on 0800 917 8053.       If you've received a promotional offer from American Express, take note of the reward code and visit membershiprewards.co.uk.     • 2. What can I redeem my points for?

      Your points will give you access to an exciting range of rewards1. Enjoy shopping rewards from gift cards and vouchers for your everyday purchases to luxurious fashion and beauty. Discover greater travel rewards with access to many of the world’s leading frequent flyer and hotel reward programmes. There are also numerous financial rewards such as using your points for a credit on your Card. Whatever your taste, the perfect reward awaits you.

      Please note that Points may be redeemed by the Cardmember for a credit on the Primary Card Account. The redemption of Points for Credit will be administered solely by American Express within 3 business days and cannot be reversed. Redeeming Points for Credit is not available for redemption by Corporate Card accounts and is not redeemable for cash via Credit balance refund.

    • 3. How do I transfer my points?

      If you belong to a participating frequent flyer or frequent guest programme, then it is quick and easy to go online and link the account details to your Membership Rewards account. Alternatively you can call the Membership Rewards team on 0800 917 8053 to transfer your Points or link your details to your Membership Rewards account. You can link accounts anytime and there is no limit to the number of partner programmes you can link with. Please allow up to 14 days for us to verify your account. Click here for a list of participating frequent flyer and frequent guest programmes.

      Partners often promote bonus offers for transferring Points to their programmes. Most partner programmes are free to register and by having the choice of when, and with whom to transfer, you will get more from your Membership Rewards Points.

    • 4. How long does it take to transfer points into my participating frequent flyer or frequent guest programme account?

      Provided you are already enrolled and your accounts are linked then the points transfer will usually be complete within five working days. This varies for frequent flyer partner and can be much faster, so please refer to the partner details for specific timings.

    • 5. Can I transfer points into someone else's airline rewards or frequent guest account?

      No, Membership Rewards Points can only be transferred by you into an account in your name.

    • 6. I've transferred points from my Membership Rewards programme to my airline rewards or frequent guest account but I can't get the booking I want. Can I transfer them back?

      This is not possible, as point transfers to frequent flyer and frequent guest partner programmes are irreversible.

    • 7. What if I like a reward and do not have enough points?

      Many Cardmembers top up their balance to take advantage of our higher value rewards. You can purchase extra Points up to a maximum of 10,000 per year. You must purchase Points in increments of 1,000 Points with a minimum purchase of 1,000 Points. If you want to purchase Points, we will provide the purchase cost when you contact us. Please note that we may impose different maximum and minimum purchases from time to time.

    • 8. Can anyone else use my points to redeem for a reward?

      The primary Cardmember can redeem all Points earned on their account, whether spend was made on their Card or on any supplementary Cards linked to the primary account.

      Any person chosen by the primary Cardmember can become an authorised 3rd party on the account allowing them to redeem. In order to appoint an authorised 3rd party, the primary Cardmember must complete a 3rd party form. The designated person will then have full access to the primary Cardmember’s Membership Rewards account, and will be able to request a Points balance and make redemptions.

      Some of our travel partners may allow 3rd parties to travel using Points from the primary Cardmember's account, but this varies by partner. Please check with the partner before Points are redeemed.

      Please note that it is not possible to transfer Points to another Cardmember’s Membership Rewards account.

    • 9. How long does it take to process my order?

      We will process your request as quickly as possible. However, please note that:

      • Merchandise items can take up to 10 business days for delivery.
      • Gift cards and vouchers can take up to 10 business days for delivery.
      • Points for Credit requests take approximately 3 business days before showing on your account.

    • 11. Are there any restrictions as to when I can use my Gift Card or Voucher

      You must use your gift card or voucher before the expiry date. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions on your gift card or voucher.

    • 12. Can I send items to a different address or someone else?

      Yes, you can change the name and address during the shopping cart process.

    • 13. There is a problem with my rewards item. Can I return it?

      Yes, if the item is damaged, faulty or incorrect, please call the Membership Rewards team on 0800 917 8053 for further details.

      We regret that all other items are not exchangeable, replaceable, transferable or refundable for cash or credit.

    • 14. I have multiple cards linked in the one Membership Rewards programme. When I redeem my points for credit which Card does the credit go to?

      The credit will be applied to your primary Card Account. Please note that:

      • the primary Card account balance must be higher or equal to the amount being credited;
      • we may decline a Points for Credit request at our own discretion where the Card account or Cardmembers' other accounts have late payments or there is not an outstanding balance on the Card.

      The redemption of Points for Credit will be applied within 3 business days. It cannot be reversed and is not redeemable for cash via a credit balance refund.

      Corporate Cards cannot redeem Points for Credit.
