Referring a new Cardmember to American Express could earn you up to 9,000 points if you have an American Express® Business Gold Card, or 18,000 points if you have an American Express® Business Platinum Card.²

Referring Cardmembers is simple. Just provide your friend or colleague’s email address in the “referral” section of your online account. Once your friend has successfully applied for their first card, you’ll receive the points within 90 days.

Supplementary Cards drive up your earning potential
As the main Cardmember, you’ll receive any points earned from transactions on Supplementary Cards. Gold Business Cardmembers can add up to 99 Supplementary Cards in a year without charge, while Platinum Business Cardmembers can receive one complimentary Business Platinum Supplementary/Employee Card and unlimited complimentary Business Gold Cards.
Our Account Managers recently helped the founder of a gaming company get some precious time back by providing a Supplementary Card to his finance director. This allowed the founder to hand over responsibility for making business payments while still retaining insight into overall spending.
