You must have an eligible purchase on your eligible Card appearing on your current statement or posted to your Account but not yet appearing on a statement. If you want to use your American Express ® Credit Card to withdraw cash, then an instalment plan may not be in your best interests as you would be paying off the instalment plan before your cash balance (which costs more). For this reason, using your Card to withdraw cash can affect your eligibility for an instalment plan.

Get a Companion Voucher when you spend £12,000 each membership year on the Card, which you can use to take a companion with you in economy only on the same flight when you redeem Avios for a Reward Flight with British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus. Terms and conditions apply to Avios redemptions. Reward Flights and Companion Voucher bookings are subject to availability and taxes, fees and carrier charges apply per person. Companion Vouchers can only be used when redeeming Avios for a British Airways, Aer Lingus and Iberia Reward seat in economy only, paid with Avios. Companion Vouchers earned from 1 September 2021 can be used on bookings departing from outside of the UK as well as allowing the Companion Voucher holder to benefit from a 50% reduction in Avios when making a Reward Flight booking with their Companion Voucher as a solo traveller. Reward Flight bookings made with Companion Vouchers can only be redeemed online through the British Airways Executive Club Avios Reward Flight booking page and British Airways Executive Club app or through British Airways Contact Centres, and Companion Vouchers must be applied at the time of booking through your British Airways Executive Club account.
