OptBlue Program
American Express has made it easier for merchants to accept American Express Cards. Payment providers sign a contract directly with eligible merchants to enable American Express® Card acceptance. The program also acts as an all-in-one solution with one statement, one deposit and one servicing contact for all the major card brands you accept. That means less paperwork and a simplified back-end process.
Payment Facilitator
American Express defines a payment facilitator as a payment provider that accepts the American Express Card as the merchant of record on behalf of sponsored merchants. Payment Facilitators offer a wide range of services as well as quick enrolment for small merchants.
