1. Annual $200 Dining Credit - Basic Platinum Cardmembers have access to the $200 CAD Annual Dining Credit. Enrolled Cardmembers will be eligible to receive a statement credit of $200 CAD following a single transaction of $200 CAD or more (including taxes and gratuity) at one of the eligible restaurants listed on our website at the time of the transaction. If an eligible restaurant is located in a hotel and the charge does not appear on your statement as a separate itemized transaction (for example, if you charged the meal to your room as part of your hotel stay), it may not be eligible for the $200 Annual Dining Credit. To qualify, the purchase must be charged to your Card directly by the restaurant, and the restaurant must appear on your statement as the merchant (not the hotel. Credit is available only once per redemption period. Participating restaurants are subject to change. Spend must be in one transaction. A one-time enrolment is required for the $200 Annual Dining Credit through Amex Offers and Cardmembers will automatically be enrolled for future redemption periods and do not need to re-enroll. Each calendar year is a separate redemption period. 

Benefit resets automatically each year on January 1 for each year this benefit is available. American Express reserves the right to modify, replace or terminate this benefit at its discretion. Any credit not redeemed during the applicable redemption period will not roll over to the following redemption period and will expire. Your Card must be charged prior to the end of each redemption period (December 31) to be eligible for the credit within that redemption period. This benefit is available to Basic Platinum Cardmembers only. If you switch to a new Card product that is not eligible for this benefit, enrolment will be removed from your Card account. If you are no longer eligible for this benefit due to a change in account status, including but not limited to fraudulent flags, suspension, or cancellation, it will be removed from your account.   

Benefit only available for dine-in services. Benefit excludes purchases of gift cards and vouchers, transactions made towards deposits charged upfront by the venue, cancellation and no-show charges, take away or dine-at-home services. 

Benefit limited to the Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the benefit. Transactions made with a Supplementary Card are not eligible for the credit. 

Credit should appear on your billing statement within 5 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 150 days from your qualifying purchase. Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled. For full terms that apply to registering your Card in the program, see Program Terms.

2. Global Dining Collection – Benefits available for Canadian Platinum Cardmembers at participating restaurants. Account must be in good standing. Participating restaurants are subject to change without notice. Benefits vary by participating restaurant. The benefits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or substituted, and cannot be combined with any other dining promotions or offers unless indicated otherwise. In order to take advantage of the benefits, reservations must be made through Platinum Concierge and the restaurant charge must be charged to your Platinum Card. Fulfillment of the program benefits is the responsibility of the individual participants. The reserved table benefit is limited to one (1) table for up to four (4) people or two (2) tables for up to two (2) people until approx. 10am daily. Reservations are based on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Cardmember will be subject to the restaurant’s cancellation policy, which will be communicated to the Cardmember by Concierge at the time of booking. Concierge is not responsible for informing the restaurant of your dietary restrictions or for the restaurant being able to accommodate the restrictions; we do ask that you provide this information directly to the restaurant. 

3. Front Of The Line^® - Purchase must be charged in full to an American Express Card. Subject to availability and to event and ticketing terms, restrictions, verification procedures and fees. Tickets and packages may not be transferable and should not be resold. No refunds and no exchanges subject to merchant's obligations under applicable law. 

4. Platinum Dining Experiences - You must be of local legal drinking age and must carry a valid government-issued identification to consume alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.
