David Jones American Express Card Partnership 

You were informed via SMS by Latitude that your new David Jones Credit Card has been activated on 14 July 2024.

If you have recently cancelled your David Jones American Express Card and have an outstanding balance, your balance will not be transferred to a new David Jones credit card issued by Latitude. Please continue paying your account on its current due date, as per your statement issued by American Express. You will need to continue to pay down your balance with American Express.

As part of the transition process, your outstanding balance on your existing David Jones American Express Card has been transferred from American Express to Latitude.

However, if you have received the July statement from American Express, you can keep using any payment instructions on your last American Express statement until you receive your first Latitude statement after the 13 July 2024. You must then use the payment instructions on that statement issued by Latitude.

Yes, you will continue to be covered for all eligible purchases made on your David Jones American Express Card, regardless of whether you transfer to Latitude or cancel your David Jones American Express Card. The other eligibility requirements and exclusions under the policy still apply.

For purchases made on the David Jones Latitude card you will need to review the insurance policy provided by Latitude, which can be located on the David Jones website.

If you are participating in the American Express Membership Rewards^® program, you will continue to earn points until 9pm AEST on 12 July 2024. This is the day before your account transitions to Latitude.

You may redeem your points under the American Express Membership Rewards program through the following dates:

• Physical gift cards – up until 13 June 2024
• All other rewards – up until 1 July 2024.

When your account transitions to Latitude, any points balance you have under the American Express Membership Rewards program will also transfer to Latitude and you will be able to redeem your points through the Latitude Rewards Program.

Transactions from 9pm AEST on 12 July will earn points under the Latitude Rewards Program.

If you have selected to participate in the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, you will continue to earn Qantas Points until your account transitions to Latitude and American Express will credit these to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

Latitude will not provide the option to earn Qantas Points through the Latitude Rewards Program.

Transactions made on the new David Jones Latitude card will earn points under the Latitude Rewards Program.
