Smartphone Front Screen Cover
Accidently smashed your Smartphone screen? With an eligible Amex Card, you may be reimbursed for the cost of front screen repair, up to $500 for two eligible claims per year.
What are the requirements and the fine print?
- You need to purchase your phone outright or pay your monthly phone bill with your eligible Amex Card.
- An excess of 10% of the repair cost applies to the claimed amount. T&Cs apply.

Card Purchase Cover
Retail lovers can shop with confidence thanks to the 90-day Card Purchase Cover available on eligible American Express Cards. Eligible purchases made on your Card may be reimbursed for replacement or repair if they are damaged or stolen, up to $2,500 per claim or up to $3,500 per claim depending on the Card you hold.
What are the requirements and the fine print?
- Items are only covered if they are stolen or damaged within 90 days of purchase.

Card Refund Cover
Card Refund Cover can help you when retailers won’t. If you’re refused a refund on an unused item within 90 days of purchase from an Australian retailer, eligible American Express Cards may provide reimbursement for your purchase up to $500 or up to $1,000 per claim, depending on the Card you hold. No excess applies.
What are the requirements and the fine print?
- You must attempt to return the item to the retailer within 90 days of purchase.
- The eligible purchase must be made on an eligible Amex Card from a retailer in Australia.

Because warranties tend to run out right when you need them, Amex Buyer’s Advantage Cover on eligible American Express Cards may extend the manufacturer’s warranty on eligible products for up to an additional 12 months when the item is bought with your Card.
