How do I earn Marriott Bonvoy points and rewards?

There are many ways to earn Marriott Bonvoy points, and the great part is, the points you earn do not expire as long as you are active at least once within 24 consecutive months¹. With a little creativity, you can combine options to multiply your earnings. A few ideas to consider:

• Use your Marriott Bonvoy^™ American Express^® Card. Whether you’re staying at a participating Marriott Bonvoy hotel, or grabbing your weekly grocery haul, you can earn points on eligible Card purchases.
• Book a hotel room at a Marriott Bonvoy property and upgrade your stay with spa treatments, restaurant meals and golf outings. Or, book your meetings and events there. You’ll earn points on the eligible hotel purchases at participating brands.

You can move up through each of the program’s five elite tiers (Silver Elite, Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite) by booking qualifying overnight stays.
