Auto redemptions
Enjoy the convenience of automatically paying your monthly Netflix, Stan and Spotify subscriptions with Membership Rewards points. Once set up, as long as you have enough points, your points will automatically be used to pay off the subscription when your Card is charged every month.
1. Set up your American Express Card as your payment method on your Netflix, Stan or Spotify account
2. Log in to your Amex Online Account and click ‘Use points for charges’ to visit the Auto Redeem page
3. Choose the subscription you’d like to set up for auto-redeem and click ‘Enable’

And you’re done! Every time the subscription is charged to your Card your points will automatically be used to pay it off. If you don’t have enough points the subscription charge will still be added to your Card Account but no points will be redeemed.

- Membership Rewards. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program available here.
- Additional Card Members. Additional Card Members must be 16 years of age or over. The Primary Card Member will be liable to pay for all transactions made by Additional Card Members. Earning of points is subject to the terms and conditions of the Rewards Program the Primary Card Member is actively enrolled. All points earned on Additional Card Member spend will go to the Primary Card Members Account. The Primary Card Member cannot add an Additional Card under their own name or email address and cannot add an Additional card under the name or email address of a previously approved Additional Card application on the Account.
- Refer a Friend. American Express discourages spamming. You should only send referral messages to friends and family who genuinely want to receive them. In order to be eligible for bonus points, your friend must apply using the referral link you send them. If your friend applies from a separate link or applies independently you will not receive bonus points. You cannot refer a friend who already has one of our Cards or has held one in the last 18 months and you will only receive the Bonus Points if your friend's Card application is approved. You may only send referral messages to a maximum of 20 friends and the amount of Bonus Points you may receive under the ‘Refer a Friend’ program is capped at 200,000 points per year. - Select and Pay with Points.
a) For each successful transaction with Select + Pay with points, points will be debited from your Membership Rewards account and a credit placed on your Card in line with the points chosen to be used for the Eligible Charge. A minimum of 1,000 Membership Rewards points is required for any Select + Pay with points transaction. Any credit to your Card account cannot exceed the amount of the relevant Eligible Charges. A credit will appear on your statement identified as “Rewards Credit”. Points will be debited immediately and the credit will take up to 3 business days to appear online. Credits processed after the Card account’s statement closing date will appear in the following statement. You are still responsible for payment of the amount due on your Card account by the due date. Select + Pay with points is not available for redemption by Corporate Card accounts and is not redeemable for cash via Credit balance refund.
b) American Express will select and display each eligible charge for Select + Pay with points (“Eligible Charge”) and the points rate required to pay for the Eligible Charge. Each Eligible Charge must: (a) appear within the Online Statement of the Summary of Accounts page; (b) be redeemed within 2 months of the charge appearing on your Card account; (c) not currently or have previously been disputed; and (d) not be a fee.
c) Eligible Charges, including the points rate required to pay for the Eligible Charge, may be changed at any time without notice. Select + Pay with points transactions can only be completed online. Select + Pay with points is available only to Basic Cardmembers enrolled in the Australian Membership Rewards program and is subject to the full Membership Rewards Terms and Conditions. Authorised agents, authorised account managers, additional Cardmembers and Authorised Additional Cardmembers are not eligible. All Linked Card accounts must be in good standing. - David Jones Points Redemptions Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the American Express Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions. Only American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited are eligible provided they are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. The amount of Membership Rewards points required for redemption is subject to change at any time. A minimum of 3,000 points must be redeemed at any one time. If redeeming with Points + Pay, the 'pay' component of your purchase will be automatically billed to your American Express Card Account and will appear on the first billing statement following redemption. Refunds and Returns
For the David Jones Returns Policy please refer to www.davidjones.com.au/Return-policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase made using Membership Rewards points, you can return it to any David Jones store or to the address below with your proof of purchase and David Jones will provide you with Returns Card to the value of the item being returned, in Australian dollars. The Returns Card may be used to make purchases at any David Jones store in Australia, excluding the online webstore.

Please include your completed Return Slip on the back of your Proof of Purchase with your goods. A Customer Relations Online Assistant will call you to process your return once the goods have been received. David Jones will not reimburse postage costs for returned items unless the item is faulty. - Pay With Points at Myer. You can Pay with points at Myer online if you are the Primary Card Member of an eligible American Express Card issued by American Express Australia Limited; your Card is enrolled in an eligible Membership Rewards program; and your Card Account is in good standing (i.e., not overdue or in collections). Additional or Employee Card Members, Card Members enrolled in Qantas or Velocity Direct program, Business Ascent program or Business Card Members with spend locked to one supplier or Card Members who hold a David Jones Storecard are not eligible to use Pay with points at Myer online. The minimum redemption value is 1,000 Membership Rewards points. The full transaction amount will be charged and appear on your account and the credit will appear within 72 hours of the charge (this may not be the full transaction amount). The credit may not appear on the same statement as the full charge. In this case, you must still pay the amount due on your statement, and the credit will apply to charges on your next statement.
