Emergency Card Replacement & Support
If your Card is lost or stolen, you can order a replacement to wherever you are in the world, 24/7.
You can order a replacement Card quickly and easily online. It will then be sent to the address that we have on file.
Follow this step-by-step process to apply for a Card replacement online.
- Login to your account and click on ’Account Management’
- Select the Card you would like to replace and the reason you’d like to replace it
- Complete the Card Membership verification
- Review your Online Card Replacement request and click to submit
To complete another Online Card Replacement request, simply tap ‘Back to Account Management’ and select ‘Order a replacement Card’ in the text box below the status.
Note: For your security, the same Card cannot be replaced again for 30 days.

Smartphone Screen Insurance
Accidently smashed your Smartphone screen? Here’s a lucky break.
We’ll reimburse you for the cost of the screen repair up to $500 for two events a year, when you purchase your phone outright or pay your monthly phone bill with an eligible American Express Card1. A 10% excess applies to the claimed amount. Waiting periods may apply.

A: To make a claim now, visit the Chubb Claim Centre for American Express Card Members.

A: The excess payable is 10% of the repair amount.
Q: What do I need to do to submit a claim?
A: You must:
1. Have the Mobile Phone repaired by a repairer of your choice.
2. Submit a claim form with the following documents:
a) Receipts of the repair
b) A copy of your American Express Platinum® Card, Essential®, Explorer® and Platinum Edge® Credit Card statement showing the outright purchase of your mobile phone or payment of your monthly phone bill.
Q: Am I eligible to make a claim?
A: To be eligible, your Smartphone must be paid for outright in a single transaction using your American Express Platinum® Card, Essential®, Explorer® or Platinum Edge® Credit Card; or your Smartphone must be paid for on a monthly contract using your American Express Platinum® Card, Essential®, Explorer® or Platinum Edge®. Waiting periods may apply. A: Reimbursement is restricted to two (2) eligible claims in a twelve (12) month period.

Refund and Purchase Protection
Had a change of heart about a recent purchase? You may be able to get reimbursed.
If you’re refused a refund on an unused item within 90 days, Refund Protection1 will reimburse you for eligible purchases of up to $500 made on selected American Express Cards. Plus, with 90-days Purchase Protection1, we’ll reimburse you on replacement or repair of damaged eligible purchases of up to $500 made on selected American Express Cards.
