How American Express AccessLine can help simplify payments for your Business
With AccessLine, you can use your American Express Business or Corporate Card to make domestic payments to virtually any Australian business – even if they don’t take Card payments. The easy-to-use payment portal allows you to use your American Express Card to pay directly into your supplier’s bank account.

1. Enable seamless transactions with your American Express Business or Corporate Card
With AccessLine, you can use your Card to directly pay your suppliers. Choose the best time in your billing cycle to pay. This will help you maximise cash flow and stay in control of your Business’s finances. A Trade Service Fee of up to 2.15% applies to all AccessLine transactions (unless we advise you otherwise). If you need to, you can also take advantage of our Flexible Payment Option available on Amex Charge Cards and pay a portion of your account balance over time (interest charges apply)3.

2. Maximise rewards and cash flow management
As an American Express Card Member, you know we offer great rewards. And it’s no different with AccessLine. When you pay a supplier with AccessLine, your Business may earn rewards points for every dollar spent, as long as you’re enrolled in one of our Rewards programs4. Your earn rate will vary depending on the type of American Express Card you have.

To take advantage of Amex AccessLine, you’ll need to have an American Express Corporate or Business Card registered to use the service and need to complete an application, which is subject to review and approval by American Express. Then enrol with AccessLine via the online payment portal, set up your login, pre-register your suppliers and create your payment within the portal.

The number of days you can extend your cash flow by are dependent on your Card product type, method of payment, when you make a purchase, when your statement is issued and whether or not you are carrying forward a balance on your account from your previous statement period. If you pay by direct debit, your payment will be processed 10 days after your statement is issued.
